According to ZakZak news, mangaka Sato Fumiya (the art author of "Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo") runs for Japanese House of Representatives Election. She will be the rival candidate against the current prime minister Aso Taro. She belongs to Kofuku Jitsugen Party, which represents a religious group "Kofuku no Kagaku (Happy Science)". Kofuku no Kagaku is a New Religious Movement (NRM) established by Okawa Ryuhou in 1986. Source: ZakZak |

I LOVE Kindaichi, and Rozen Aso seems like a cool guy, but this is such a huge thing that I can only hope for the better to win. Goodluck to both. |

I was so sure people all knew President Reagan was an actor? If US can have an actor turned president, why not a mangaka turn House of Representative? |
