It would be pretty cool but then there wouldn't be a real plot. Also, an anime means that the Vocaloids will have a set personality which could cause some producers to lose their originality for their songs since Vocaloids =/= personalities. So no, I wouldn't want an anime. Why is there no "no" option? D<

Even if things aren't supposed to be seen as "official," there'll still be a ton of crud about "canon" personalities. The thing about Vocaloid is that the possibilities are endless, there are numerous character depictions, etc. -- an anime would feel like it's limiting that, to me.

Perhaps I am just a jaded fan lol. If anything, it'll at least bring more interest to Vocaloid.
I'm mainly in it for the music so I guess it doesn't matter; I just never liked the idea of it having an anime.

I'd really like professionally animated PVs, though, that'd be nice. Since they're just PVs.

It would be really awesome if they made a Vocaloid-anime.
I mean.. if they had a lot of Gakupo, Kaito, Len and Piko =w=
Hahah.

But there's a new anime and an OVA out called "Black Rock Shooter" which is kinda based on Miku's song with the same name.
But it's not about her, and to me the anime is a little mindfuck XD

Ha, no. Never. Notably, you can't make an anime from instruments and assign them personalities. Fans can, but companies and studios shouldn't.

OVAs that focus on certain songs, like Mothy's series or a collection of shorts. An adaption of Jin's novel/songs would be nice too.

I agree with the musical idea. Personalities wouldn't be a problem because they sing more than they talk. And if they call together some of the best vocaloid artists they could make an amazing soundtrack. The only problem would be the topic of the musical. But there are so many creative artists out there, so I think they could solve this easily. I wouldn't even mind if the story is simple just so I could hear her sing and see her animated^^

Funny how the vote option only has "yes", but anyways on to the actually question. I would personally have to say "No," don't get me wrong as I love Miku and all but if you noticed the genre of her songs, it has variety, meaning that everyone views her in a different way thus making an anime or a story in that matter really difficult.
