THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Well, the episode isn't too bad but pretty average. Dan, Sela, and Iceman are playing against 3 other players in the desert. It's pretty funny when Iceman keeps throwing his destroy ball at Dan. After that, he trashed his own teammates Dan and Sela when Dan asked for the ball...after that he lost it and start throwing his destroy balls at the town buildings, the mountains and then...Dan...again.

Dan manage to catch Iceman's last destroy ball. But when he;s about to throw it back, Iceman praise him for being able to catch it which confuses everyone. So it's kinda weird that he has been throwing all these shots at Dan just hoping he would catch it. In the end, the 3 opponents that Dan and his teammates are suppose to be competing with are digging the sand for something. .. 0.0"

This was another brilliantly written episode - there are tons of details about this world coming out in the background and it appears that things are not quite as they have seemed. For example, that last shot was significant - those patterns in the ground that the guys were digging out mirror the patterns in the moon above.

And the three singers were introduced and it appears that they will become involved next episode. Why can the Princess hear the reverberations, and what are they from? I love all the sci-fi mystery in this series!

And yes, it was nice to see Iceman finally be able to express himself, albeit after the usual destruction. The characters in this series have some fascinating depth to them.

The key to understanding this series is to realize that it is a sci-fi story that happens to have mecha-basketball as one of the story drivers. But it isn't a sport anime.

Not as entertaining... but great preview on the next episode.
Lol, didn't know the three singers were actually part of the anime, nor were they into Basquash. Pretty funny how the destory balls were actually passes. Wonder what was so special with the desert marking that scared off Iceman's former teammates. And lastly... everyone owns a pet, too bad Sela's doesn't transform to something.

So we finally get to see Nakajima Megumi's minor role in this.

Nice episode, but nothing really exciting. It was fun seeing Dan getting beaten up by Destroy Balls.
(No more updates on this sig until I get a new server with a better cronjob service)

Oh yeah, pretty much.

@cy: I prefer the Megane Idol(?)

BTW: Now I know of what Miyuki's bus reminded me.

So the ECLIPSE trio finally appears, Rouge is played by the always delicious Tomatsu Haruka, Cytron by Nakajima Megumi as we already can see in the database, and in contrast with those two bigger names we have Hayami Saori as Violet, a relative newcomer.

Rie's boy voice is always the same Miharu low tone, but I kind of like it, at least better than her traditional high pitch tsundere roles.

This episode has funny moments that make me laughed it out. It’s so funny to see Dan was beaten by Destroy Balls. When Dan finally catches the last Destroy Ball, Iceman praised him, that he has a good job to catch it then everyone was confusing about that one even though, these Destroy Balls are actually passes only. This technique is good way to pass since their opponents are unable to catch it. The girl with pink hair is hot so is Sela.

Definately not as exciting as previous episodes, but it had some good moments and good details. Still, no question, Basquash is my top show of the season. Cant wait for more!

Did anyone else find Iceman to be acting grossly out of character for at least half the episode...call Dan "Dan-kun" and what not? I was extra surprised no one really said anything about it.
