According to Bessatsu Margaret, Kimi ni Todoke was announced to get a game adaptation on Nintendo DS.
The detail of the game will be given later in the magazine.

Kimi ni Todoke anime will start this autumn.

I'll be curious to see the details because I'm not sure what kind of "gameplay" this will have. Hana Yori Dango and Vampire Knight etc were otome games, but I can't see this being adapted to one.

I am expecting that it will turn out to be a visual novel but nothing like the Tokimemo series. Any cutscenes or special features?

Yes! Unlock achievements by wrapping up humorous misunderstandings and doing really banal good deeds.

What idiot decided THIS would make a good video game? Last I checked they were supposed to, I dunno, entertain you somehow.

Seems like a pointless game, but hey, japanese people like anything related to their fandom right? (and probably the whole world as well if we put it that way xD) For me the manga/anime is enough, so I can't see how this will be interesting. Probably a RPG with Sawako as the last boss, popping out of a well? lol Joking xD
