| Wow. I still can't believe it. I was expecting an anime on par with Hajime no Ippo, but Hajime no Ippo wasn't this depressing! Ugh...for making me tear up. Poor Goro. |
| I LOVe what they did here. Probably the best episode for any anime ever created. It made him look like he was going to survive, you stay all calm and happy, then BAMN he dies. The episode director needs to get payed a lot more for that one. Sure the manga-ka came up with it, but it takes perfect timing to pull that off. |

| Oh man it was on a fast pace. I was hoping to at least have Kimura's dad for the whole season or at least HALF! Damn he didn't even marry her completely yet :( It was getting so awesome so quick. Then it takes a flush down the toilet just as fast. Filler or not they could have easily let him stay alive with the concussion for at least 6 more stupid episodes. DAMN DAMN DAMN! Isn't momoko allowed a few episodes of happiness :( |

| I expected more from Gibson, as far as I could tell Honda was the only Japanese player he actually respected, and I think hearing that would have meant a lot to Goro I think the pace will probably slow down a little bit now that he's old enough to join little league. I wonder if the name of the series means he'll be aiming for the MLB? |

| When I saw the episode title 'farewell' I thought he'd have to quit baseball, but I never thought he'd die. Poor Goro. |
| This episode made me cry so much....from when he first passed out at 6 in the moring until the time skip.... I usually never cry for anime but this one really got to me. |

| This certainly was an unexpected turn of events. I knew things were too good for Honda and his son to be truth, but still, I never thought something like this would happen. Poor Goro, losing his parents when he's still a child. I wonder what Gibson will do from now on, I'm looking forward for his character development. |

| Kaaaaah, I just knew he would get hit and something bad would happen from the opening but this was just soooooo sad.... Ugh, saddest thing I've seen in quite awhile... Poor Goro, first losing his mother at the age of 4 and now his father at the age of 6... |
| holy fuck I probably tear up once in about 100 anime I see and not until towards the end of the series, but this anime..... What doesn't make sense is that this anime is so damn predictable that there should be little to no psychological effect on me. Looks like I'm in for a long haul... how many season does this anime has? 9 now? It's good to be alive.. (no disrespect to Honda-san) RIP |

| Not only did he die, but Goro was up for a few hours thinking he was asleep. Way too cruel for everyone. What the hell how unrealistic can you get?! Helmets don't crack like that even if they do get hit! And even if they do crack they protect the head enough to not let THAT happen.That ticks me off a bit. |

| Been a while since an anime has made me teary eyed. Shigeharu was a great character too. I wish they had at least 1 episode of Shigeharu and Momoko happy together. This series definitely has me more hooked than it already did. |

| They should have brought him immediately to the hospital after the game for check up or have him stop playing during the game. I thought that is the standard procedure if there is an accident that affected the head especially if he went unconscious (like in basketball). I was surprised that he was still able to play in the previous episode despite that. **Sigh**, its sad. Somehow, the Ocean's management is partly to be blamed for not forcing him do to check up immediately! Grr.. i'm kinda sad and pissed off now.. |
