| It was cool to see the concert this episode. I thought this episode was going to be them practicing and it ending right before the concert. The intro was such a tease with doing the one, two, three, four. Would've rather seen them play then see some random music video, and them automatically being good with what seems like no practice at all what so ever is pretty lame. Using a rice bowl to show her underwear pattern was pretty funny. Overall it was a good episode but would've been 10x better if we saw them putting in the effort to get better and to be rewarded instead of magical playing/singing abilities. |

| I think I finally "got" what moe is, thanks to this and Lucky Star. This episode was great, but I'm not a fan of the random music video part. I'd rather watch the actual performance. |

| Awesome episode, they did great. I loved that they still had Yui singing with her scratchy voice in the background xD Poor, poor Mio! Hopefully her fan club doesn't obsess over the pantsu detail =P |
| BAHAHAHA. I wonder if the English dub just voiced her cracked singing or if it was the Japanese seiyuu that performed the song. As it was, both seiyuu and voice actress did really well on the hoarse voice. The performance was definitely short but we got to see a bit of a music video to go with it. /sigh Just reminds me of when I was in my band and performed for the school`` Nostalgia`` Onto the next episode. CHRISTMAS ALREADY!! |

| Ah man cultural festivals seem like so much fun :O Funny how Yui was working at a cafe and Ritsu was doing a haunted house since they both wanted the opposite XD Good job Sawako with those outfits! That's pretty impressive if she made them :O Music video was interesting I kinda wish they showed them just playing but the song was actually pretty good albeit short. Yui's scratching vocals with her sore throat was hilarious XD Ah the classic trip into panties flash ... poor Mio :P I wonder why both Ritsu and Mugi don't want to do any vocals though? :O Well in any case looks like next episode is Christmas already ... another several months gone by huh? I guess at least this way their musical improvement is more believable :P |

I never could understand how people could get so caught up with a show simply [I]implying[I] a character's underwear got seen by the whole school. This stuff actually happens in real life people. It's nothing to be ashamed of or feel queasy about. People doing plays at schools have wardrobe malfunctions, bras get seen by the audience, underwear gets exposed. Shit happens, it's actually a pretty realistic moment. |

Wow their concert and outfits were great. Glad Mio was able to overcome her fears. Good to see her having a fan club although I hope they're not obsessed with her pantsu. The stripe rice bowl though. I wonder who took a photo of her. The cellphone snap was funny. During their concert, I wished they showed the actual performance instead of other backgrounds. Yui's coarse voice sounds funny.  |
| Their school festival sure looked like a lot of fun and the highlight of the whole event for the most part was two weird girls impersonating sumo wrestlers in the middle of a busy school hall. Dosukoi! Mio finally got over her fear of being in the spotlight and delivered a great song that's actually pretty badass despite the lyrics being as fluffy as it gets. Their first live show was a success but what became the most memorable part of the show was Mio's striped panties being showcased to the whole auditorium. That would've been a sight to behold. Wished I was there~ I like how Yui still joined in with the vocals even with her hoarse voice. |

| The character of Sawako, remains the element that gives an extra gear to the narrative: her solutions and her comic jokes are irresistible, however even Yui, Mugi, Mio and Ritsu do not lose the comparison. Pleasant viewing of this episode. |

| Woahhh two actually decent episodes in a row- that’s crazy. I somewhat liked this episode. Everything else besides the performance (minus the panty thing) wasn’t that good. But the performance takes the cake, also a few bits like Mio being scared and all were good but that’s it I’m disappointed they had to add the fact Mio’s panties were exposed in the storyline but I don’t expect much from this anime anymore Small edit: I mean Implying the fact her panties were shown. |

| the school festival is finally here! they sounded so good for not practicing much.. i swear we've only seen them practice without the lyrics once lol. they all look so cute in their outfits. mio looks stunning but i feel bad for her in this episode - she's too cute. i knew something might go wrong since i saw the wire between her legs but i thought not much about it then boom. worse of all, the stripes were on full display. i love how it shown a bowl of rice - that was hilarious. also, yui singing in the bg lmao. i laughed sm when i heard her croaky voice. |
| KyoAni really put a lot of effort into this adaptation. The manga is good, but the anime is definitely a lot better. |

| YES THE CONCERT ~ AT LAST i like the song but it isn't my fav or something i'd personally jam to >< the trip scene was kinda unnecessary. i just felt like i would've been more satisfied if that scene just never happened (it was fine though, just something i didn't personally enjoy) not a fan of the fact they didn't show them playing an instrument and put a clip instead. sorta takes out the whole anxiety of preforming thing. (also the clip didn't match with the song at all) personally not my fav episode (did make me laugh a few times but i prefer some of the previous episodes a bit more). (that ending next episode preview when yui was setting up the star for the Christmas tree was adorable <3) 4/5 ~ |

| It's crazy how good the direction is for a slice-of-life anime. That small Yui-Ritsu sumo exchange, the three peering at the door looking at Mio for performance, the "pantsu" implied with a bowl of rice. These small bits really make the show. |

| Concert episode is here, and while I can admire the fact that Mio had to overcome her stage fright and performed well with her singing after her fellow bandmates motivated her and was on her side, I wasn't a big fan of the trip scene being overlayed instead of just showcasing the concert itself. KyoAni at the time already showcased how to do a concert scene with Haruhi, they could've done similar here and no one would've complained. The messages and themes of that 'music video' fit the cheesiness of the band's music and lyrics itself, but I really would have preferred seeing Mio overcome the odds with her performance itself. Poor girl though had her accidental moment on stage after the performance with the trip and exposing her panties, she was so close. I guess it was a win for her popularity since she's now one of the stars of the school for the students' eyes? |
