| Good episode. Bulgey-eye guy (forget his name) pulling teeth out of his hand and eating the eyeball was just awesome. I wonder how they're going to counter the murderer's style too. |

| I don't think it's a woman because there are times when his robes gape open a bit and it's a manly-looking chest, not breasts. But Irako isn't unlikely, given the hair covering the eyes and his blindness. |

| Didn't Seigen use the vertical sword posture in the opening episode (can't remember too well). So the vertical cuts would make sense. |

| This was my reaction when the dude slid the door open in the beginning: "It's a fish, right? IT'S A FISH, RIGHT? FISH!? TELL ME THATS A FISH!!!" And yeah, with Mie acting weird, now that we're leading up to the end I'm not confident of Fujiki's chances of surviving this show. :| |

| When suzu was killed I thought maybe it was Mie who killed him but as the episode went on and I saw Iraku standing on the bridge, everything became clear. I can't wait for Iraku/ Fujiki fight. |

| Glorious storytelling. A beautiful anime in just about every way I can think of. Bloody, yes, but it doesn't feel gratuitous. The pace of the telling, the muted colors, and the sense of quiet play a huge part in balancing out the violence; not to mention those all-too-frequent glimpses into the darkest parts of the human psyche. Don't get me wrong...every sight and sound is in the perfect place at the perfect time. No part of Shigurui is gratuitous. I'm only 8 episodes into the series, which is why I'm "discussing" rather than "reviewing," and I will admit to taking a break after every 4th episode to watch a couple Fruits Baskets. I know, talk about polar opposites! Although not in any way frantic, the intensity is almost a character in and of itself! I don't know if it's because I don't have to wait a week between each episode, but this series shares a certain quality found in the best of film. It's a masterpiece, pure and simple. |

I was wondering what the fuck was going on in the first ep, I mean clearly she "sees" Fujiki getting his head chopped open up the middle and yet she said that she saw him win. That really confused me. If she was really trying to get him killed them that'd make everything click. | So Irako is the murderer. Makes sense, and I figured it was him as soon as they said it wasn't Kogan and wasn't anyone from the dojo. So, NOW I'm pissed off at Irako. My distant, distant second favorite character kills my first favorite character... And for no reason, he wasn't even a member when Irako was exiled. :( The other two killings were pretty justified though, and anyone else he kills from the dojo is too. Just not Suzu. :( And I guess that explains why bug-eyed guy was so much more upset over Suzu's death than the rest, guess he had a thing for him. Still need to see how Irako gets crippled, and how Fujiki loses his arm. Guessing it'll happen in a fight between the two of them. |

Appetizing xD Pin the blame on a random past enemy to use as a facade while they look for the real killer. They sure go through ridiculous lengths ta protect their reputation. Everyone in the Kogan Dojo has some sort of inhuman strength even the minor characters. Speaking of minor characters, the moment the spotlight shines on them, they get killed off kek (it's obviously Irako, just look at those dark girly lips).
