Male (Man, my SoL series all seem to revolve around the girls to some extent...)

Azumanga Daioh: Sakaki's version of Chiyo's father
Ichigo Mashimaro: That poor former cosmetics salesman. :) I know he was a one-episode character, but there's not much to choose from, at least in vol. 1-5 of the manga...
Yotsuba&!: "Jumbo"! I would say he's my favorite guy overall, as far as anime/manga series go. (In my, um, limited experience.)

Female:

Azumanga Daioh: Chiyo, or possibly Osaka.
Ichigo Mashimaro: Chika. Or Ana. Or Matsuri...?
Yotsuba&!: Ena, or Fuka.
