Agreed with all above. Although I can sort of imagine what DS said, I honestly don't think that would make a good ending.

One of the many possibilities most people saw from chapter 297 did happen in this chapter: Kurono getting pissed at Reika, going to check if he's really a clone, and deciding to really settle with Reika. Only thing that wasn't predictable was Gantz taking a walk out in town, although him being out could lead to thinking he'd feel like taking a stroll in town.

We'll see what the next chapters bring us.

Tae can't be cloned so the second Kurono is also happy, because she is not a player, even if there were more missions.

Well at least I get to see a Reika x Kurono relationship now ... although it was very different to how I envisioned it was going to be.

I think the author is showing us just how well Kurono's character has developed. The Kurono from the 1st chapter wouldn't have thought twice about being able to live with Reika, and now he clearly doesn't want to. He's become a better person. It's not just some senseless plot twist.

Also, I remember when Kurono and Tae where first having relationship problems involving Reika. I thought that maybe Kurono just wanted to spare Tae any hurt feelings by not dumping her for Reika. Now he's been given a chance to be with Reika without hurting Tae, but he doesn't want it.
