post your subsriptions (or whatever you want to call them) for slice-of-life anime here

I'll start with mmm Azumanga Daioh is slice of life, and... Pani Poni Dash, also Genshiken and Genshiken 2 (+ the OVA's), Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, Ichigo Mashimaro, and last Myoashimon and Kamichu! tough it doesn't really say so in the description it's definitly also slice-of-life...

for manga I would say...

Detroit Metal City I guess

Well, I have that problem too. OHSHC is definetly an anime that contains a piece slice of life... It's okay if you think it is ^^

Forgot to put down the slice of life anime I'm currently watching... Kimi Kiss ~ Pure Rouge is actually the only SoL anime I'm currently watching. I still plan to watch Air and NHK ni Youkoso.

I'm new here. I just joined MAL and this is my first club. I would say that Doujin Work would qualify because Najimi is shown working at a second job while trying to start her Doujin career. Plus the whole Doujin scene as a backdrop is rather realistic.

The following i think are some examples that would be considerd slice of life. They are crossed with the following genres:

Honey and Clover - SoL, Drama, Comedy, Romance all blended in one.
Welcome to the NHK - SoL, Drama with a bit of Comedy
Lucky Star - SoL, Comedy
Ichigo Mashimaro - SoL, Comedy
Minami-Ke - SoL, Comedy
Ef Tale of Memories - SoL, Romance, Drama
Kanon - SoL, Romance, Drama, Harem

Azumanga Daioh (both manga and anime)
Yotsuba&!
and, of course, Ichigo Mashimaro (manga)

I can't believe that I went through 1 and 1/2 pages without seeing a reference to Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (Yokohama Shopping Log). It is the quintessential slice of life manga/anime.

To be honest there were some mentions which I don't think really qualifies as "Slice of Life". Perhaps we need a better definition of the genre? I doubt that a series which overlaps more than 2 genres (including SoL) should be considered SoL.

But oh well, I am a purist...do forgive me.

Diseases, the idea goes on, form a hierarchy from simple to difficult. Specialists take care of difficult diseases, so, of course, they will naturally do a good job on simple diseases. WRONG."

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask about Kodomo no Omocha. Are there much slice-of-life-parts in this anime? :3 I plan to watch it anyway, but it's rather big, lol.

I suggest you add the following anime:
GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class
Haibane Renmei (a somewhat borderline suggestion, but the entire first half of this series could be considered slice-of-life)
Mainichi Kaa-san
Only Yesterday
Windy Tales
Yurumates

Hmmm... I'm unsure about Shinryaku! Ika Musume. The premise doesn't exactly make it sound like one, but some of the episodes are about things like discovering makeup and umbrellas, dealing with getting sick, and taking a hike up a mountain. Those certainly feel like slice-of-life, but I don't know...
