| So far it seems that the action in this series is really good. Too bad I'm not the kind of person to appreciate it that much, but it's definitely something I might recommend to someone who's more into action than slice of life. My favourite part is still the opening. I can't believe she's actually younger than me and yet Maaya Sakamoto sang that song when she was just 16.... that's just amazing beyond belief, the interpretation sounds so mature. |
| oh my godding god it turned into a goddamn dragon + it was awesome. it's a shame that cat girl is back and already annoying (again). even allen annoyed me this episode actually, so thank god for that cliffhanger of an ending rescuing this episode from the brink of being dull as hell. |

| Dragon form Escaflowne is cool! Still Hitomi looks like she's a warning call as she's not really doing anything in a fight besides telling others what's gonna happen and what to look out for. Not that it isn't helpful, I wish she would participate too :( |

| The thing I want to know: how is dragonwind different from regular wind? Hitomi's vision of Dilandau's mech (flies in like a bat) looks like the movie one... I wonder if some of the design was taken from that image. |

| Dilandau is soooo hateable. He cannot die fast enough but I'm guessing he's one of those characters that will live to the end. |

| This anime hitts different from any anime i've seen, every chapter feels like part of a movie, all this adventure atmosphere is great i feel like watching a 2000's Disney 2D movie like Atlantis or Treasure Planet. |
