if im correct like 60% of naruto was all fillers which if you count thats alot also he never progressed much compared to shippuuden so more pple dislike the first series compred to the shippuuden series

I agree with you. Took him about 200 freakin episodes to finally be older and progress.

I think I'm gonna start reading the manga...

I've been thinking of watching Naruto for a while now [I'm a Bleach fan so I guess I can't be surprised by endless battles or hundreds of immortal characters] but if the anime is actually just 132 eps and then fillers till 220 and then Shippunden is just dragged along, maybe I shouldn't waste that much time on it. Let's face it, manga takes a lot less time to read :|.

Well if they made the anime and characters all cool.. then there is no balance

but think about it Naruto grew alone without the care of a his Father/Mother so you know what I mean
