| I'm sure if you understood the article then you would have seen that it backs up what I have said. Though it does say the lesser distinctive Western audiences see yaoi and shounen-ai as the same, it doesn't change the fact that they are intrinsically different. As far as Ayanami and Frau being typical shounen-ai leads, I'd disagree. Ayanami is firstly a typical antagonist in every way. I wouldn't really call him a lead either since his screentime and presence isn't really a distinct point of the story. Frau also seems to be more typical of the shounen action genre than he does of shounen-ai. He is that bad attitude, hot blooded secondary character who's really soft on the inside; the likes of Kuwabara from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. I won't doubt that they can be twisted to fit shounen-ai standards, but this show seems very bent on being ambiguous and setting fangirls' imaginations ablaze. I can understand that you probably aren't trying to be offensive, but the language and attitude of some of your thoughts have stirred up some things, coupling this with the blase defensiveness in the face of fact make you seem more offensive than maybe you think you are being. |

Just because you say something offensive, I'm not going to think you're a "bad guy", what I will think of you now is someone who can be a bit ignorant and inconsiderate. Clearly, there are definitions set for "shounen-ai" and "yaoi". But apparently in your world, whatever you think is right, is right....right? Maybe that's a big assumption, sorry if that offended you. And about wikipedia, dude, the information you find in wikipedia or on the internet for that matter is not the ultimate truth. And what do you mean by "typical shounen-ai leads"? Everything that noteDhero is saying I'm totally backing up. The whole idea of "shounen-ai" being in this series is purely a figment of fans' wishful thinking. There is no actual sign of any shounen-ai; all you'll see at face value are strong bonds within a friendship. Pease try not to use your own prejudice and biased opinions to jump to conclusions and misinform others. Just because there are a lot of guys in a series does not mean it has to be shounen-ai, there could be a possibility, but it is not an aspect you rely on to determine whether or not a series is shounen-ai. No offense, but I'm just glad that most people don't think the way you do (at least I don't think so). Otherwise, I can't even love my girl friends without having others misinterpreting us in being in not only a romantic relationship, but a romantic sexual relationship. |
| Is K-ON shoujo-ai or yuri because there are no men? How about Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo? Is Sengoku Basara shounen-ai? No. Cast doesn't matter. What matters is plot and how it develops. As of right now, I have no reason to believe that it is shounen-ai because romance has not explicitly played a part in any of the show. Until either Teito or Mikage declare their love for one another, I'll refrain from saying so. I doubt that it will go that way because the show seems like it would rather allude to something more than explicitly say so. Just like xxxHolic and Natsume Yuujinchou. Oh, well if that was your goal then you succeded, Siva. LOL. I don't think she has a weird image, it's just that like me she was aware that a conversation like this was bound to happen, and she had a different method for confronting it. |

| No, not a bad method/response. We're just different people and did responded differently. You were very direct at Siva, I suppose mine started out as more general, but then became more pointed at Siva. Ultimately though, we did end up saying a lot of the same things. |

I think I have gone this far :D LOL I don't think I ever thought of my opinion is the fact, even in my old sig I even used a quote from Shakespeare "There is nothing neither good or bad but thinking make it so" Well it was you,robbydesu, in the first place who quoted me so I just want to go along with it. Lets not talk about "shounen-ai" and "yaoi" anymore I am kind of getting tired of it now. To be honest, I can't really prove anything about this series being a shounen-ai beside a few things has been shown so far. But we will see it what kind of thing they will show us later. I am really trying my best to continue this show to the end. | The anime seems to be doing well, the only two annoyances I have is the CG and the slow pacing. I have nothing against slow pacing but in this show it's more boring then interesting, I just want them to speed it up a little. I want to hurry and see pya-Mikage already! And every time I see CG is bothers me to no end. I wish they would stop using as it sticks out and clashes a bit more then blend in and look cool, in my opinion. Is it just me or do the characters seem to not even remember/notice that Teito have the chains on? Heck, Teito doesn't even seem to notice, it just blends in.... |

| this episode was ok i guess. The new idea in the plot was interesting though. I didn't like the comedy in this episode, was stupid in my opinion and felt out of place. End was kinda corny eh? can't say i love nor hate this series so far. It's just average to me. Oh and for the 3rd week in a row, TAKE OFF THE CHAINS DUDE. |

| Great episode. I can't wait to learn more about the wishes, God, and Kor - sounds very interesting so far. Pure hilarity what Frau did to Teito after he finally thanked him for once. Ayanami is really good at coming off as a bad ass without having to do much and the end of the episode was fantastic. I've got no problems with the pace and am finding plenty to enjoy. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| IMO this ep was the best so far. The series really getting better and better by every episode. Finally Mikage made his decision ^^ Oh, and I think I found my favourite character beside Frau, that guy in Ayanami's team who wears black glasses. Though: - the 'preview' things are still lame - still don't understand why do they have to keeps the chains on Teito... (someone surely into bondage in the stuff... let it be the mangaka or anyone) - i miss some girl characters |

| I think this was the best episode so far. The ending gave me chills, but the storyline seems to be taking a while. It's been 4 eps... I wonder when those chains are going to come off. |

XD) Who to thunk it? lol Oh no! Poor Mikage! The next episode's gonna break my heart!
