One-Metallica, A hard paced, high note guitar solo that just swallows you. So cold-Breaking Benjamin, a very simple solo but still really powerful The Calamity-Trivium, A very powerful duet solo by both the lead singer and the lead guitarist. A sick solo altogether. "Kirisute Gomen" The Samurai's apology, "I apologize for striking you down." |

In no particular order. Metallica - Fade to Black (first solo, even though I'm not a big fan) Kuribayashi Minami - Crystal Energy Sakakibara Yui - Toki Tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction Megadeth - Tornado of Souls Megadeth - Lucretia Megadeth - How the Story Ends Demetori - Dance of Pundarika Demetori - View of the River Styx Demetori - Emotional Skyscraper ~ World's End Scorpions - Sails of Charon Cacophony - The Ninja Cacophony - Concerto Jason Becker - Altitudes Marty Friedman - Namida Marty Friedman - Jewel Marty Friedman - Forbidden City Unlucky Morpheus - Border of Life Dream Theater - This Dying Soul (Final solo) Symphony X - Seven Symphony X - The Damnation Game Time Requiem - Sphere of Fantasy Time Requiem - Grand Opus Paul Gilbert - The Gargoyle Impellitteri - 17th Century Chicken Pickin' Jeff Loomis - Miles of Machines Pretty much any of Marty Friedman's solos I like, he has a certain touch to his stuff that makes me love everything he does. |

well I like all of the solos on Frank Zappa's album "overnite sensation". And I enjoy Greg Ginn of Black Flag's solos. I'm just some opinionated asshole on the internet |
