I've only read the manga, but from what I know the anime ends halfway through and it doesn't have a proper ending, so the manga wins for me. |

MANGA I watched the anime long before I even started reading manga, and the manga was the first that I ever read and the only full set I own. Even so, I found the manga far more intriguing and indepth than the anime, which seems silly in comparison to it's original form. I love how the manga seems "darker" in a way, and of course that it has a proper ending that makes sense to the story. The character developement in the manga is better too, but I may just be bias. It also helps that I love to read, so naturally I'd be drawn to it. ^^ |

Definitely the manga, although I enjoyed the anime as well! The manga was so much more detailed and longer, plus it had an AWESOME ending! I think if they made more episodes in the anime it would be much better! |

I'm currently finishing up the anime and I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what chapter or volume of the manga the anime stops at. I REALLY love the anime and from what I've read here the manga is even better, so I would appreciate it if someone helped me out... thanks :) |

I Love Both but i would have to say that i like the anime better just because the manga made me sad..i mean it was one of those 'it was so happy it became sad' ~ ~ im so depressed now that its over though D= |

However, the anime switches around certain storylines; for example, some of the characters that were introduced early on in the anime actually turn up in the later volumes. So, it would be kind of confusing for you if you started at volume 6. =) Anyway, I'd suggest reading from the beginning. You won't regret it, and it won't take you too long to catch up either. Izaya-sama said: im so depressed now that its over though D= I went through that phase as well. =(  |

Manga (your vote) I watched the anime first, it was good, I have to say. but this year I read the manga and I found it better than anime itself^^ |

Manga, definitely. I'm not usually one of those people that goes "OMG TEH MANGA IS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THEN THE ANIMU!!!!11!!1" but in this case, it really outshines the anime. The anime was definitely good though and worth the watch.      |

Manga of course. It's deeper and you could understand about the characters better as it explains more of their family background and their pasts that made them turn into what they've become now. But the best part about the manga is that it shows character development. How they change over time. Getting older and become mature... falling in love. mingling with each other are the flames of red and blue |

Manga for sure. I did like the anime but like others, don't like how it ended. I would love to see it extended to cover the whole series because I think it would be so awesome. I love how the manga ended and it is something I would love to see. I <3 Kyo!!  |

I prefer the manga because its so much better gives you way more, more easy to understand and has the best ending! But I still love the anime. XD i've re-watched it lots of times and love it everytime. I wish I could get the manga too. :) 私は、黒崎一護が大好きです。♥ |
