What's with the sudden switch to english? Everyone has been conversing in japanese until now, yet they switch once they reach japan :?

I didn't realize so many of them could speak English? It wasn't just Revy right? I thought Balalika was throwing English into the conversation with the Yakuzaa.

Aside from the crappy English I thought this was a fine enough episode.

If I remember correctly, it's assumed that the crew speaks English (as it is the international language of business). The show is in Japanese for the most part to make it more accessible to the intended audience (native Japanese speakers). When they actually go to Japan, they have to show that majority of the of the crew does not speak Japanese, hence the lovely Engrish. ^^

Best episode ever. Revy blushing is a real treat. And if you don't understand the language switch, think harder.

Im not sure if this was shown in an earlier episode. Did anyone else notice the ugly shirt Revy bought Rock?

That's a badass way of intimidating someone, Balalaika. ._.

For the record, all this makes much more sense in English. Though, oddly enough, most of the japanese characters still speak english...well. I personally think all the japanese characters should have spoke there language.

Half the time I didn't know wtf they were talking in English LoL o.o
They need to sub those bits too :P (Shinsen-Subs)

Oh god the engrish was golden.. Apart from that seems like a bit of a fillerish episode setting foundation for that guy with the tattoos on his back. I bet he'll be quite an adversary sometime down the road..

Got to see another side of Revy and I love her Engrish. :3

This episode just shows that Revy isn't a one-dimensional character, which is good because I never liker her character that much.

Anyway I think I will greatly enjoy this arc. The setup was perfect, new cool characters, tension's in the air, it's all there!

This season already surpassed the first one in my eyes.

The english was really bad, but funny as hell.. also Revy was really cute, another reason to love her.

Revy with proper clothing on looks surprisingly cute. She actually cares enough for Rock that she wants him to stay at home instead of going to Roanapur and that life.

And I thought the engris was pretty funny.

I thought she looked cute as well with the beanie on lol. I really enjoyed the bit with Revy playing with the kids.

I definitely had a hard time understanding their Engrish also. x3 It'd be nice to hear them speak more Russian but that might be asking a lot of the voice actors. xD

I also saw the Hawaiian shirt. I wouldn't wear it either. xD I've actually been quite impressed with Rock. I'm getting tired of whiney and wimpy main characters in anime. o_o He seems pretty resourceful and very useful to the Lagoon Company.

That was actually some of the better english i've heard.

Revy was great in this episode.
