| The fight was pretty good. The thing is, we all knew Takamura would end up destroying that guy in the end, since Hawk was already built up. So that kind of took away from the suspense. Hawk's design is badass as fuck. Dude looks like a pimp Dennis Rodman. I don't really see what was so bad about him though. Just gave a typical dickhead pro athlete response. Takamura was involved in sex scandal shit anyway, so he doesn't seem like too terrible of a guy honestly |

| Bryan Hawk sampling the local selection instead of going out of his way to stake Takamura out was pretty rude but understandable considering his character. I guess that's all the more reason for Takamura to take things seriously and make sure that he'll be at his peak once he faces off against the guy at December. No more weight-related mishaps next time, I hope. |

| Yeah Takamuras plot armor is too strong. There's a reason they don't show any of his fights; they would be boring as fuck. He is just supposed to be the OP guy who wins everything just because. Here I guess they were actually trying to build suspense and also wanted a moment where Takamura would get pissed off over seeing Hawk. This was a too birds one stone solution. Still a boring af fight since I knew Takamura would bullshit his way to a win. West showed essentially zero potential compared to all the fighters we've seen with Ippo. I mean if he did how could just justify Takamuras asspull. |

| Weird seeing Takamura suck so much lol. This whole weight control thing is a bit odd imo. Like wouldn’t Takamura rather be at a healthy strong weight, even if it meant going up a weight class? Surely these diets (no food or even WATER) and ridiculous exercise/saunas can’t be good for you… Anyways, keen for the eventual title match! |
