| Well, this is good news...I hope. Thus far the show hasn't gone terribly downhill, but a third season is pushing its luck. Plus I don't want to end up seeing both this and Bakemonogatari being crap because Shinbo is doing too much (assuming he directs them both) or because Shaft has to outsource it. So yeah, basically bracing for epic fail at the moment... |

Oh, and another answer to "Why does it need another season?!" is because the manga is still going, meaning they still have lots of material left :D Amazing news none the less. It made my day. |

If we assume the break-even point for the volume 2 to be 5,000, the total profit will be (26,479 + 34,986 - 20,000) x (3,470 - 420) + (11,144 - 5,000) x 4,725 = 155,498,650 yen Enough to produce 15 episodes. |
