| Not quite sure what to make of this. The art is really meh. The sound is terrible. The opening and ending songs are horrendous. The voice actors are.. ok I guess. The little girl's voice is really cute, but her crying was really fake sounding. The set up for this plot is a little strange. Why does he have to look after her? Isn't he living with his older sister and younger brother? Why wouldn't it be all of their responsibilities? Where are his parents? Why is it just him? Things are set up pretty forced. I was looking forward to this, and I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. I guess I can deal with the low budget, but if the plot continues to be so.. amateur feeling, I just might drop it. |

| I'm a bit underwhelmed by this first episode. On one hand it's really sweet and I like the premise, but it feels like it was rushed into and some of it is a bit unbelievable such as why Kippei has to take care of her. The choice of having a real child voice Yuzuyu was interesting and reminds me of the currently airing Barakamon this season (she even sounds just like Naru). Although it makes her sound more authentic, there are obviously drawbacks such as the fake crying. The scene at the end was really cute though with Yuzuyu waiting to be asked to sleep there while hugging her pillow. Maybe I'll come back to this later or just go nice and slow for now. |

| The art kinda meh, Yuzuyu's crying felt awkward and I don't get why Kappei's family decided to leave Yuzuyu's fate in hands of Kappei... However I'm extremely interested in the story and this sort of cute shows are my weakness so I don't care about anything I said. |

| So I am a sap for a older guy taking care of a young girl no matter the context story. This is no different but I will admit this looks dated as fuck and sounds like it too. I won't drop but between the character design and sound design being fed through a cardboard tube at times, I have to wonder how I've heard so much praise for this over time. |
