When is it coming out?

i dont know myself but i hope it is soon!

if any1 knows something more about it plz pass the info here

On January 20th, during the Future Film Festival here in Italy (Bologna), there was a press conference for the premiere of the Italian broadcast of the anime on MTV local with, among others, Junko Koseki ("NANA" editor for Shueisha) and Masao Maruyama (MadHouse president). Someone asked about the end of the anime and the answer was that they've already decided to wait for the end of the manga. So... Maybe there will be a Second season and this is just the end of the first one, isn't it? ^.-

i guss it's late because the manga stoped for a while..
i really want to see the ending for this great anime "manga"
and it's a good thing that they will wait for the manga to end.. this way they will not rush the ending and ruin it like some other anime last year =_=!

what anime what is it FMA?? it is right or Claymore.
I want second season of Nana but I don't like Takumi and i want Nana(Hachi) to be with Nobu again.

You will wait a lot for that,or it will never happen .
You should know what kind of show is NANA if you like it,lol.

I think there really should be a second season for the anime as it came to a sudden halt. That surely can't be called an ending. It's true that the manga is long and they have really respected the manga line with the anime story and it's also true that not all animes must be as long as the manga, but 'Nana' was a hit, so to say. It would be a pity not to do more.
And for me it doesn't matter if I have to wait for a while for the seacond season as long as it will be made.
And I personally like Takumi... and well, what will happen between him and Hachi, you can just read in the chapters of the manga that have already appeared...p

I read somewhere (forgot where) that the anime is not going to b finished until the manga is. the first season cover the first half of the manga and the second season is supposed to cover the end.

I don't see it coming out before the end of the manga... the first season took about the first 13 volumes... and now their at 19 or sumthin'.... so.. a loo~ong wait is in order....

Yazawa Ai please, you should finish this manga more quickly

Wow I'm so behind on the times...I'm glad there is going to be a seaon 2, now I just have to finish season 1

YAY theres a season 2!! hopefully itll answer all those Qs and cliffhangers left from the 1st season (the ending was disappointing, felt like the whole of the series was leading up to something but tht something didnt happen/wasnt explained properly :/) sooo hoping for more answers and to see wht happens in the future :D:D:D

Wow, it's really good. O_O I began manga, too, but I want to watch and "hear" again both of the Nanas, especially the not Hachi one. xD Ah, I'm so happy. I don't want the manga to finish quickly neither, but I want to watch Nana as an anime again. *-*

it's been known for a long while that the anime would not resume until the end of the manga. we all know that this is a great series and we would be VERY upset with crappy fillers. so let's just wait for the manga to have an awesome ending and we can have an awesome second season ^_^

Yeah NANA isn't the kind of anime that can have fillers. I thinks fillers can only be put in to fighting shounen anime. The only think you have to do is put some fights or some out of the story mission and you are fine but NANA is all about the story of there life you can't put fillers in that.
But why to they have to wait until the manga finishes? If they reach to a point where they know that the manga is gone a finish before they catch up to it if they start the anime, they can start from there.

I cant wait to see the second season. Has there been any updates yet?
