Have I got the story right? (spoilers, obviously)

Lemme get this straight. Tomoya's future kid is aware of what'll happen in the future (her death and nagisa's death) and decides to "summon" Tomoya to the other world so they can collect the orbs which are wishes so they can make it that they both don't die. Tomoya goes through his life, meets Nagisa, has the kid, she dies and then the kid dies, and because he collected enough orbs he gets taken back to the day he meets her and decides whether to ignore her or not, and after he makes the right decision his wish is granted and they end up living?

If you'd correct me I'd appreciate it! I'd love to understand it fully.

That's pretty much correct if you want to believe the supernatural ending. Otherwise you could say that Tomoya was just having a dream about Nagisa's death or you could just deny the existence of the last episode if you feel as though the happy ending is a cop-out. But yeah, I'm pretty sure what you said was the story line that the creators wanted to portray.
