| Not a bad episode. It really is just so good looking that I can't help but watch it, so even though the story is ridiculously cliche, I doubt anything will be bad enough for me to drop it. |
| I love the ending song as well, it's just so catchy lol. Anyway, this anime kinda reminds me of Air Gear and Gurren Laggan at the same time lol. The art-style is freaking incredible, espacially Dan. He's drawn pretty well and that makes me watch and care about him that much more, but when his sister got smashed by that big foot I couldn't help but think, "Where's there money from that accident?" lol. They should have gotten paid for someone's carelessness but than maybe I'm thinking to much. Anyway, great show I love it. |

| I guess it was inevitable that the series would come back down to earth a little bit after that out-of-this-world first episode, but it's not like we can't expect to have more fun in the future. A little backstory and exposition isn't so bad, and the sheer originality of the basic concept is going to make up for anything unoriginal in the plotline, etc. I think it's a good bet that this ends up being the best show of the season. I'll be waiting for the next episode to really impress me again. |

| Wow, I was particularly more entertained by this episode than the last one. Not that it's a bad start, starts have to be different from the rest of a series, and are entertaining in a different way. |

| This show is so much better than it has any right to be. I'm actually more impressed with this episode than the first solely because it showed that it can still be entertaining without going a hundred miles an hour. |
| I don't want to comment too much on the story part yet since the show just started. Not to mention, it will run for 26 episodes. You can say that there are plenty of room for the story to develop. Nevertheless, the animation is still nice looking like on episode one. |

| wasn't as interesting as ep 1 but was still a bit interested in how it would have turned out. I didn't have the sense to think about how much time was left so that does say something but it was wearing down after a bit so it was very close. |

| After the first episode I was worried about the direction of this series, but now it seems to be on the right track. Making him stay in prison for a year helped because it made the sport far more competitive. It gave others time to improve and change their style. Also, I liked how they made him lose to this new girl. I'm glad they didn't make him the best right away. This episode also gave him clear goals: to pay back his debt and to go to the moon for his sister's sake. |

| Wow, the music of this series is excellent. Even the OP song fits. The song that played in the middle was also quite catchy. It seems like a lot of the budget went to the soundtrack department... |
