| Lately I was thinking how this anime had some similarities with The Little Mermaid... Other than the main characters watching the movie in the ending, Marin's name is pretty similar to Marina, the little mermaid's name. They also look kind of similar... http://myanimelist.net/character/17439/Marina Sedna kind of reminds me of the desperation of the little mermaid when she feel into the sea... It also deals with similar aspects like jealousy... I don't know >.<, Marin's relationship with Kanon kind of reminds of Marina's relationship with the Prince... and how in the end they can't be together and both Marin and Marina return to the sea... >.< What do you think? |
