Decent ending considering they just entered the game season. There will be a lot of seasons to play. I hope they'll continue it, so I cry for another season. Tokuchi was awesome. I enjoyed the show a lot so it's 9/10. Gonna watch Kaiji next which I keep putting off due to art. |

Pretty decent ending with window for another season. I liked Kaji (same production) and Liar Game (same author) so 9/10 for me. |

those pants were way too tight for an amateur pickpocket to plant something in them :/ also, ending was lame, I'm assuming there's a related manga that's not finished yet or something and they were to lazy to make an anime original ending. typical shounen garbage, seems to think talking about the fight > the fight itself. seriously boring by the end. 5/10 |

Aside from Hajime no Ippo, I am not a fan of sports anime, but I must say this... This is the only anime series that I have ever watched in its entirety in a single day/night. 12 straight hours with only one break. This show simply had me hooked! Now, being that I don't follow baseball, it was kind of off-putting when they would use the terms. However, I must say that they did a good job of explaining what each type of throw was, for those of us who don't care for the sport in the first place The ending did seem a bit rushed, but I hope that just means that there will be a season 2/ova in the future for it. Throughout the show, I was just waiting for someone to completely outsmart Toua, and as it didn't happen, I can only assume that it will occur in the manga (if it is still ongoing). I also loved the running gag with the coach constantly coming out with "pitcher switch with Tokuchi", and most of the other comedy effects associated with him. It added a nice touch to the show. |

I gave this anime a 8/10. It's not very good thought vise, but it was very entertaining and tbh, it was quite unique. |

The ending left much to be desired so i hope there is a second season. Actually i think there should be since it wasn't really an ending at all as noteDhero said. We didn't get to see the championship game and no real ending on the contract. I loved it, it's so much like Akagi, with the fact that they are both just badasses at the things they do. I give it a 7/10 for the fact that there were a few episodes i didn't enjoy and the ending but i overall enjoyed this series a lot. |
