| Now that was some good old fashioned manly GAR action! I summarized it as exp ((Dragon Ball z + Casshern Sins)*historical japan + some heavy metal) all-star VA cast. Who would have thought that this season has its jewels afterall.. |
| GAR, that is all. I had absolutely no idea what was going on. The story will probably make no sense for someone who doesn't know much about Japanese history, but I don't care. Seiyuu are awesome, fights are awesome, characters are awesome, animation is awesome and I think that's all this anime is trying to do. 5/5 first episode. Oh, Kazuya Nakai engrish is EPIC engrish |

| I watched this yesterday and found my only reason to continue this series is because a bunch of my favorite actors are in here... namely, Kazuya Nakai, Soichiro Hoshi and Takehito Koyasu. :D |

| Damn this was awesome, didnt get much of the so called story but hey, im not complaining, one of my fav VA's Nakai Kazuya has yet again found himself being one badass samurai :p probably felt he could do better than a triple wielding samurai, six frikkin swords hell yeah! also pimped horse with handlebars and exhaust pipes is teh shit really couldnt see where the "historical" fits in though :p |

| I really love the historical Japan but all that fantasy stuff around the fights are a huge turn off to me, even if I still enjoy all those games around this theme. And the art and animation is so great it makes me wanna watch more. I'm in love with the voice acting in this show, so many hot voices! <3 Not sure if I can finish it, but let's try~ |
| My impression switched between "awesome!!" and "wtf?! That's sooo ridiculous!" every 12 seconds... XD After understanding that this anime is not to be taken seriously, I think it can be a good comedy and I'll stick with it for now. ^^ EDIT: Damn, why did they make Mitsuhide that hot?! I used to hate him in history class, but his design in this anime temps me to like him now... Btw, does talking about what happened in REAL history count as a spoiler for this anime? o_O |

| Awesome seiyuu cast, and only 12 episodes in which there is no time for planet Namek(if you know what I mean). Shonen battle anime as it should be. That horse and the Engrish was a bit disturbing though... 9/10 |

| That was fucking amazing. Animation was brilliant and probably the best voice cast I've seen in a long ass time. This had everything that I want in an anime. Fuck yeah exhaust pipes on a horse! This was born of manliness. |

You should check out Basquash as well, it's as exciting as Sengoku Basara and maybe even more ;) In general, this episode was very good and at the same time so fast in a good sense -12 episodes wouldnt be enough otherwise-. Characters seem quite interesting, especially the interaction between Yukimura and Ouyakata made me laugh quite a bit. Definitely looking forward to more, this series is the series that i'm definitely not dropping in this season ^^ |

| whoa, it was... weird? I have no idea what's going but it's my fix of random action and manliness this season, the animation, seiyuus and music are pretty cool, definitely the strong points of the series. the Oyakata sama - Yukimura dialogues are pretty funny. |
| That was much better than I was expecting from this series which is always a good thing. Really like the OP as well and the animation as well. Some of the character designs are a little iffy for me though. |

| Awesome voice actors. High production value.. Everything looked great.. Nice 'camera'-work .. pumping music.. but.. I almost died when watching this anime, becuz of the lame characters, lame dialogues, lame jokes (Rock Lee/Gai Sensei jokes?? ), shit story, supernatural shit in a historical setting (WTF!! ok.. ok game-adaptation), main-stream rock music (which I liked a bit.. damn..), no extreme violence, bleh.. (no(/hardly any) boobage :|).. Conclusion: SHITE Am I getting old you guys?? WTF... |

| The story changed active characters so much that i never really felt attached to any single character. The characters also didn't seem to be anything to write home about but then we don't know much about them since they changed so much. I will say that dual wielding spears is a very cool looking fighting style, but his interactions with the head general just grew to be tiring after a VERY short while. I couldn't imagine watching 12 episodes full of him sucking up to his leader at every turn. The fighting wasn't that interesting to me at least as often times it just turned in to crazy over the top energy balls instead of seeing two people actually fighting. Using powers above human level is fine, but when your fighting consists of two waves of bland energy crashing in to each other, you're doing it wrong. I'm just waiting for one of the guys to tell me that the enemy's power level is over 9,000 now... I might watch another episode, but unless things improve a lot, there are a lot of better series out this season. |
| LMAO I don't even know what to think. On one hand it was ridiculously overpowered and full of absurd attacks. On the other hand, I had a lot of fun watching it. I think I'll end up following this to the end. |

| Im a little confuse by this anime... so I cant decide wether I like it or not. Story happened so fast I felt I was thrown in the middle of something (fans of the game probably dont feel this way huh?) Fights were good, the whole Yukimura-Takeda was hilarous and I love the seiyuu's so I'll watch a couple more episodes |

| Animation: Phenomenal - battle scenes, character designs, OP - seriously top notch Characters: some likable, kick-a$$, incredibly battle-oriented guys Story: Honestly, thinking too deeply about the story will ruin the other aspects of the show--it seems it's meant for pure entertainment as the type of anime that excels in the fields of, mind-blowing, edge-of-your-seat battles, if nothing else. A good watch if you're in the mood for cool fights and bada$$ samurai with fiery tempers ;D |

| I watched it today~I'm soo happy that it got animated. Yukimura wasss sooooo funny LMAO! I just love that part when he says "Oyataka-sama" .I just don't know why i like it especially the part when he and Takeda were fighting xD and Sasuke's expression is love. The small battle between Yukimura and Masamune was AWESOME. Kenshin looks a little manly in here.Atleast he doesn't look gay like in the game version and the blond girl which i think is Kasuga looks 0.0 weird. Anyways ,The OP and ED is cool and fun to listen. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| This was a really great first episode ;D I am expecting for it be more entertaining just like the games ;D TMRevolution (solo of abingdon boys school band) - Crosswise (opening for the first game ;O) abingdon boys school - BLADE CHORD (opening for the sengoku basara heroes 2 game ;D) and now abingdon boys school - JAP (opening for the anime series ;D) must be because Takanori like this series >__< just like gundam SEED |
