Animation: Phenomenal - battle scenes, character designs, OP - seriously top notch Characters: some likable, kick-a$$, incredibly battle-oriented guys Story: Honestly, thinking too deeply about the story will ruin the other aspects of the show--it seems it's meant for pure entertainment as the type of anime that excels in the fields of, mind-blowing, edge-of-your-seat battles, if nothing else. A good watch if you're in the mood for cool fights and bada$$ samurai with fiery tempers ;D |

A good first episode, where everything looked well. The animation is great and the character designs are looking cool. There's a high chance I'll see this one 'till the end. |

I watched it today~I'm soo happy that it got animated. Yukimura wasss sooooo funny LMAO! I just love that part when he says "Oyataka-sama" .I just don't know why i like it especially the part when he and Takeda were fighting xD and Sasuke's expression is love. The small battle between Yukimura and Masamune was AWESOME. Kenshin looks a little manly in here.Atleast he doesn't look gay like in the game version and the blond girl which i think is Kasuga looks 0.0 weird. Anyways ,The OP and ED is cool and fun to listen. Looking forward to the next episode.  Love is filled with mystery |

Now that was just fucking awesome. Amazing animation quality, nice character designs, good OP and ED, and a great cast of voice actors with Norio Wakamoto topping it all off. Definitely watching this all the way through. And I really am looking to the next episode. 5/5  Felli disapproves of this thread. |

This was a really great first episode ;D I am expecting for it be more entertaining just like the games ;D TMRevolution (solo of abingdon boys school band) - Crosswise (opening for the first game ;O) abingdon boys school - BLADE CHORD (opening for the sengoku basara heroes 2 game ;D) and now abingdon boys school - JAP (opening for the anime series ;D) must be because Takanori like this series >__< just like gundam SEED      |

Uhm, really awesome animation quality and nice special effects. OP was also very nice. Character design was ok. BUT .... this is dropped or better: I won't watch another episode. I don't have the time to watch everything so I am of course focusing on the better stuff and this didn't really interest me. It was really ridiculous in a lot of ways, like the things on the one guy's horse, the emberassing character outfits and stupid english for no reason. The jokes were lame and I kind of had the typical shounen action show with cooler guys and better action. I could overlook that all if the show could grab my attention on some parts or had an interesting story. But overall nothing new. Maybe I am just too old for this. 6 years ago I might have loved it.    |

Lively soundtrack as can be expected for shounen action series. At first, I find the some voices kinda weak and even thought that the start was stupidly comical until Yukimura and Masamune fought. In the end, it was enjoyable. LOL |

so i'm guessing this would be historical action type anime. also it seems that the VA for Date is the same one for zoro from one piece, awesome! but this definitely looks like an amazing series the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures  |
