| Personally, I like how Natsume doesn't force an ending. Life isn't like that, freezing in place. It's obvious that there will always be more stories to tell, which I'm glad for. That being said, I'd love a third season. <3 |

| I though that it was a great ending to this anime. I'll miss it. Hopefully they will make a 3rd season. That Kai kid one of the best youkai in the whole series. And Natsume has learned a lot during his time with youkai. I'm sad that it has ended but I still have hopes for a 3rd season and for now I'll go read the manga. |

| Everything about this episode was great, and I love how much of the human cast was integrated towards the end of the season. The beginning episodes weren't really up to par with the first season, though, so unfortunately I'll have to give it an 8/10. Maybe I'll bump it up to a 9 one day when I'm in a better mood. D: Also, I vouch for a third season like many peeps here. :3 |
| This anime coming to an end leaves me bittersweet. I was bummed that there wasn't another season to watch; that is, until I learned -just now- that this WAS the second season. At least I have the first season to look forward to...? XD |

| Wonderful anime!! And like everyone else, I WANT A THIRD SEASON!! I don't want it to end just like that! T_T This anime is peaceful, emotional and filled with kindness. Watching Natsume makes me empathize with his feelings of loneness and caring for other people ... isn't that weird and wonderful? :) Nyanko-sensei is still the best for me! He's sooo cute and funny xD (mayby I've strange tastes too like Taki) As the opposite of caring Natsume, Nyanko balanced this anime from being too emotional filled. I say, he did a great job being the best friend of Natsume! Though they've never admitted themselves being best friends ^^ |

| A great season, but not quite as good as the first. 8/10 from me. It lacked the emotional stuff that the first season had. But it's still very heartwarming and enjoyable. |

| Wonderful ending to a wonderful series. I loved everything. Natsume has such a unique heart-warming aura; I’m going to really miss this show now that’s over. I wish it would go on forever; I want a new season, an OVA, movie, anything, it doesn’t matter which, to only watch more episodes. And if it could be endless… |

| Tsundere nyanko sensei is tsundere. I wonder if he had a similar relationship with Reiko at some point. A nice ending I suppose, although I want more, as everyone has already said. His guardians, more reiko, etc etc. I had hoped he would at least fess up to his guardians, but oh well. Again, here's hoping for a season 3. Hell, I'd be stoked about a prequel season starring Reiko, about how she finally came to meet another human that accepts her and she loves enough to reproduce with. Despite the overwhelming amount of homoerotic tension and shota BL subliminal messaging, I loved this series. 9/10 EDIT: It's sad that terribad shows like the typical shounen mainstream titles get 300-400 episodes, but the actual good anime get 26. Although I suppose if they gave natsume 400 eps it would end up full of trash as well. |

| Natsume Yuujinchou sure is a brilliant anime. All the touching and well thought out stories, interesting and fun flashbacks of Reiko. All the good characters and intriguing youkai. The animation/art and soundtrack creating a relaxing feeling and the overall pacing is great. Looking forward to the third season now! |

| I think this was a fitting ending to this season, seeing Natsume together with his friends and family but also with some youkai just shows us how much Natsume's character has developed throughout the second season. When it comes to my overall feelings towards this second season I can't say I liked it more compared to the 1st season, I actually was a bit dissapointed, it just did not have the same emotional impact on me as the 1st season did. My favorite episodes from this season are episodes 4, 9 and 10. |

| Whoa, was that REIKO at the end?! I wonder if she's a spirit now then? So glad I got through this in time for the third season! I'm really curious now to find out if Natsume will meet Reiko in some form... At any rate, I really liked this last two-parter and finale. Very nice how Natsume has been able to form relationships with both humans and yokai. The conflict involving Natori and Kai was an interesting one, and I liked how Natsume was able to remain friends with both of them. I imagine we will see Kai again one day. Can't wait to see how Natsume's character is developed further. TT.TT |

| Wasn't as great as I expected it to be but it still delivered a peaceful relaxing ending. Nyanko-sensei and Natsume's relationship just got deeper. Reiko showing at the end was simply nice even though it's symbolic. Overall, this gets a 9/10 although it's the same score from the prequel but this is a lot better than the latter. 3rd season, here I come.. :D |

My exact sentiment. For whatever reason, the second season lacked the strong emotional core of the first season, or perhaps the novelty has just worn out for me. It was, however, much darker, and if you like that, then I could see why someone would prefer this season over the first. As far as I'm concerned, I was waiting for an episode to reach the brilliance of episodes 6-8 of the first season, and that just didn't happen. I was disappointed by that. Anyway, still a great show with a lot of heart. And the stories were all very creative and unique, not to mention the production values are always high. I especially love the animation. 8/10 |

| Just a thought I got from reading the other posts... Since Reiko was at the end... maybe she became a youkai? o.o Maybe she was cursed and became one, and everyone just said she "died". Also, I liked the second season. However I think the first season did a better job, although this one was darker and there were a lot more Nyanko-sensei moments. 9/10 ! :D Not a 10/10 because I was actually bored of it at one point (around ep.4-5)... then it picked up and got emotional and stuff. Kai almost made me cry when he cried. He was an awesome youkai. I thought I would go into a rage when Kai left and I thought they weren't going to see him again, ever. But then Natsume said he would visit him and I was all happy again. :D |
| Kai sure is powerful, more so than Madara(?) Reiko at the window left a nice touch. But i don't think shes a Youkai like some others have said, but I've been suspecting something like Reiko isn't actually just dead or something...... o.O IDK.. Well whatever..didn't love this season much as i did the 1st one, something was off..either way, it was still great! 9/10 |

| Better ending than the one in Season 1. Although my favorite episode to now is ep 11 from this season. 1. Characters. +1. This time I feel even better about them, because of Taki. She was great at all the time. And Natori. O yeah, Natori! 2. Atmosphere. +1. M-m-m-m-m, this atmosphere... I liked it the best in episode 11. 3. OST. +1. Nice OP and great ED. Otherwise, the OST was good overall. 4. Animation. +1. This anime has great animation and now I'm used to the Ayakashi/Yoakai's unusual forms and I like them better then I did in the previous season. 5. Background story. +1. The background story we got for Reiko in ep. 10 was just great(be it the only episode involving Reiko at all). 6. Storyline. Well, there still isn't any kind of plot in this show, but I guess that fits just ok with this anime. 7. Ending. Not an actual ending, really, too good there are more seasons to come. 9. Drama. +1. This time we actually got some drama here and there, and I think it was nice. Season 1 mostly missed this aspect. 10. Overall feeling. +1. After this season I feel like I want to see much more of it. Natsume got better development, and other interesting characters beside him were involved in more than one episode(Taki, Natori ^__^). Bonus(extra) point for:... I don't know what can I give score for here at this point, but if something comes into my mind I might edit it. Overall score: 8/10. Looking forward to the next season! |
