I asked for recommendations like last week, but i didn't realize that i worded it wrong, lol, sorry... I'm looking for an anime with a main character who's like... Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma Hei from Darker Than Black Layfon from Chrome Shelled Regios Train from Black Cat You know? Hmmm... i don't really know but how about Shinn Asuka from Gundam Seed Destiny? He did start out kinda rough at the beginning...  |

Guts from Berserk, and maybe Baki from Baki the Grappler. They're not really like those you listed though....o.o....they both have rather different personality's.  |

There's Kurapica and Killua from Hunter X Hunter. Vincent from Final Fantasy VII advent children (although you won't get the full experience unless you've played the game.) Otoha from Karas (kind of) Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen (He is much 'cooler' here than he is in the series. aka no comedy.) The Black Swordsman from Kigeki Karasu from Noein (kind of) D from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust Not all necessarily start off as a 'monster' in the series, but they are certainly cool like the characters you mentioned, and either were a 'monster' or become one. There are more characters I could have mentioned, but either weren't memorable enough or never were/became a 'monster'.  |

Shigeru Akagi from Akagi Brandon Heat from Gungrave Randal Oland from Pumpkin Scissors Nanashi from Sword of the Stranger Yuichi Kannami from The Sky Crawlers (this movie might not suit your tastes - just a heads up) Since you have already seen Rurouni Kenshin you should check out Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen. Its more 'darker' and has more along the lines off what your looking for - cool, quiet, strong |
