So another great show done. Props to Key and Kyoto Animation for their good work. This episode however, felt a little weak than the others. I think it would've been better to have 25 episodes with one omake episode. But overall, I was satisfied. Loved the Clannad teaser at the end.

Sayuri ftw~
Mai ftw~
Ayu ftw~
Nayuki ftw~
Shiori ftw~
Makoto ftw~
Akiko ftw~

I can only agree, except to the weak episode part. I think it was a very nice one, a well fitting final episode. Looking forward to Clannad. I'm glad my fave Fansub group picked up a great show like this one.

AGREES! This episode showed a lot of remnants from the original last episode of Kanon, which I actually liked. Oh well, I loved how this series ended this time or rather I've just grown to accept it. So now, even after all I said, I've got to admit it that it just HAS to be an Ayu ending! Anything else just wouldn't be Kanon!

Well, what now? Kanon is over! Bring on CLANNAD Kyoto Animation!

Good series from top to bottom. I also thought that this last episode wasn't as strong as the rest of the series. Omake episode is a good idea. That would probably tie the series together better. But still an enjoyable series.

i never really thought that i'd actually like the series, liked the ending too, satisfying indeed but it isn't my ideal ending.

arite, long post guys.

yay for Nayuki moeness in the first few seconds of the episode~.
Yay for Akiko's new jam. Yay for Kaori's "That jam is still around?! 0_0"
Yay for Shiori and Yuuichi hugging.~
Yay for Nagato Mai~.
Yay for Pachelbel's Kanon in the restaurant with Akiko~
Yay for Ayu's long hair (so much cuter that way~)

oh I didn't really like how everyone suddenly took so much care of Ayu. In 2002 and in the original game all the girls were pretty much isolated from each other. In the manga they all get to know each other but...i thought the whole "taking care of Ayu scene" was a bit of a forced way to get everyone together. oh well it was a good effort to tie up all the arcs though, only so much you can do for an eroge adaptation.

yay for Nayuki's "fight-to da yo~. ja ne~."

oh Yuuichi's final crying scene, and his epitomy of choosing illusion over reality...so powerful...

and I liked how Ayu was in a wheelchair. in 2002 she actually ran with Yuuichi, which was confusing cuz it was like she suddenly got better. here, it was clearer that she was still recovering.

and WHAT?! the last image goes to Makoto?! blah...

and the final fade to Kaze no Tadoritsuku Basho...so nostalgic, such an awesome ED to end all...

oh well, Lucky Star in 2 weeks and CLANNAD!!~~~

*sniffs* today is friday and there's no Kanon. I'm gonna miss this series. It's been fun guys.

I really liked this anime though it was really confusing. Though I'm still confused on a lot of things.

Finally got around watching Kanon 2006. First of all, sumimasen for bumping this. I couldn't ask for a better last, conclusive episode; I think this was probably best one implemented. A distant future which conclude to a happy ending. It almost don't make sense but that's why they call it miracle. Some things about Yuuichi are still covered in smoke, but overall all the characters have strong personalities.

Finally, my questions were answered. What's with all the hype on Clannad? Why did the club accumulated 300+ members before the show even began. It didn't even halfway to finale yet Clannad already made me teary. Both series has their own charms and I'm hoping to see more from Clannad to top Kanon.

Faito! dayo~

I watched the original Kanon around 3-4 years ago. Then I watched the remake last year. Just now I finished rewatching the remake again.

And crap, I still cried... Seeing Shiori, All better... Mai and Sayuri that got to get out of hospital before graduation... And then Yuuichi's final scene... This is definately one of my favorite series... I loved the original, I loved the remake and I still love both. Banzai for Kanon.

And BTW - yep, Banzai for Pachebel's Kanon too :D I got sheets, i'll be trying to learn the song sometime soon...
And I realised *now* that they actually planned making Clannad already back when Kanon was finished XD

I love Clannad ( i started watching Kanon after iv seen the 11 clannad eps) but after this i can see that its not as good as i thought...(i still find it amazing)I recomend to any1 that doesnt have this in his list ADD IT NOW

ive just started watching this as i hadnt got anymore clannad episodes to watch, and at first i didnt really like it, but from around episode 4, i was hooked.
definitely a great series, even if its so sad x.x
but i really got to like all the characters, even if sayuris "ha~ha" freaks me out <.<;
but i still like clannad's tomoya a lot more than yuichi, even if both share a godly wicked humor ^^

Bump again, can't believe I've done the whole Kanon 2006 in 3 days, when I'm supposed to be studying for my last exam! :p
I haven't seen the first Kanon but I've read the first manga when it came out, so I knew what to expect a bit. It was stunning, made me cry a few times too, which doesn't happen that often, kudos to Kanon for that! The animation was top-notch too. High rewatching value.

So, my tier is
Ayu=Shiori > Sayuri (a~haha) > Nayuki = Mai = Makoto > Akiko
I liked all the characters, so this was difficult to classify. ^^

On to Clannad now! \o/

Amazing, amazing series. I don't think I've ever cared so much about characters in an anime before I watched Kanon.

I was a little disappointed with the ending, since it seemed a bit confusing to me. Oh well. It's an excuse to rewatch it! XD

I've just finished watching the last three episodes...and I can be very honest to say that I've cried. Shiori lives, Akiko survived, Ayu and Yuuichi found each other in the end...it all worked out. I'm so happy I chose to watch this anime!

I swear here and now that this particulair anime will never leave my favorites list! Ever!

Key and all their creations forever~!

Yes, but it is not clear whether Makoto is alive or not. :'( I wasn't able to figure that out even after watching Kanon Kazahana. I have some ideas on that, but they sound too unreal to me. However, "even a miracle" is possible in Kanon... Maybe I should think more about it.
