Instead of vilifying the Card King for being an absolute monster for being solely responsible for the complete destruction of his kingdom they praise him for having the courage to sacrifice an entire race for his daughter. He, with full knowledge of consequence, made the selfish action to save his daughter which lead to not only the destruction of his kingdom, but brought terror on the human wold. Not to mention he actually lost his daughter in the process. But the show teaches you that was the correct action, because family is more important that collective society. What a horrible thing to be teaching children!

What I think is that they teach kids that parents do whatever it is necessary to save their kids. The mistake of the king was sacrifice the entrée kingdom

Really? The king did everything he can for his daughter. The point is to let people be sympathetic to his problems, it wasn't meant to be a lesson that being selfish is bad. Rather, it showed the true paradox of being selfish.

Being selfish is both a good and a bad thing. Even Mana said in her final delivery that people are selfish at times.

Unfortunately, yes, the delivery of the true lessons fell short.

Really? That's what you got from that?
I think they made it pretty clear that the king's actions were not correct, but they were understandable. Real parents really will do anything to save their children, everyone else, including themselves, be damned. They made him out to be sympathetic because he WAS sympathetic. That was the big tragedy in all of this: all he wanted to do was save his daughter.

Well, if a 9 year old girl uses make-up, she'll magically grow taller, look more mature, look ULTRA PRETTY and basically, become an adult!

BEHOLD, THE POWER OF MAKE-UP!

So are you questioning why those people praise the Trump King despite what he had done, huh?

Well, think what would have happened if the king didn't use the Eternal Golden Crown to save his daughter. Ange would've died out of her illness and it would send the TK people to deep condolence and sorrow. And worse they could belittle the king for not saving his daughter, like 'what kind of a sorry excuse of a parent are you?!'.

But the king chose the opposite. He simply did it out of his love for his daughter. Which is why people praise him instead of vilify him.

DokiDoki may be a controversial season and you can criticize it all you want, but for god's sake. Please don't derail it by accusing it of the things it never did.
