The series was one of the best comedy series I've ever watched. The jokes are new to me even though some are repetitive.

The characters are very interesting (not all):
• Father Kanae - His character is very original..he can turn all nonsense to complicated ones. His truly awesome that T-something disease in B-minor is truly funny for me
• Matsurika - I like her bitch slapping moments
• Shizu - one of the cutest clumsy + tsundere scene I've ever seen
• God/Dorm Mistress - very mysterious at the same time cute..I still don't know why she allows a VirtualBoy inside the dorm..nobody knows right?
• Kanako - she's one of a kind from the yuri girls (in my experience). She acts like a perverted guy.
• Mariya - I can say he's a badass crossdresser. Nothing can bring him down (in the series)

The comedy is very original even though it's somewhat like SZN. Well they came from the same company so it's not surprising. They've done well with this anime. Come on a crossdressing series turned out like this? I never thought it would be like this before I watch the 1st episode.

Everything's above average but still can't beat Seto no Hanayome and Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu so I'll be giving it a flat 9/10

I really liked this episode. However, I feel sorry for Kanako, humiliating Maryia would make a perfect ending for me.

Whole series needed more Mariya.

Probably should be called Kanako holic instead. -___-

nobody saw the marimite and minami-ke girls? :o

Did you all noticed all of the Zetsubou Sensei references (and minami-ke)? This episode was full with them!
And Miku was in there too (Too obvious if I say so) ^^

It had some good laughs, this anime.
Kanae-Kanako interactions were the best xD

LOL what an ending

anyway it is sad that i havent watched SZS or hidamari sketch yet so i failed to appreciate the cameos of those characters...and i also failed in recognizing miku or the minami-ke sisters...oh well..it was fun though. thanks to the people that pointed them out :P

as for the series itself, it was a good series for me. even if they reused the jokes, nosebleeds and all, it was still pretty amusing watching kanako fantasize about stuff and mariya torture her to eternity. god was also cute and her tone was really what made her epic. anyways, im pretty sure there will be a seconds eason because kanako's last line was "Dear Mother up in Heaven, it seems like my ordeals do not end here"

looking forward for more episodes :P(or OVAs)

Speaking about references - nobody mentioned Rokugou from Pani Poni Dash - she was in the same drawing as Miku IIRC.

i got a question did no one watch after the credits? it showed a short clip about Kanako and Shizu... i want to know what happens next D:!!!

first i thought it would be a romance anime,now that i think it is just slice of life-comedy anime.On the other hand during the series i had laughed a lot,it was quite funny =)
will wait for a new season with more romance =P

I'm totally addicted to the ending...

When I first started this anime I thought it would end with Mariya and Kanako hooking up. I really liked this series but it was basically about nothing, pretty random stuff. The art was great though and I got a lot of laughs. I gave it a 7.

It was a good show, not perfect...there was no big development there...
am I the only one who finds that priest annoying? he sure is funny somtimes, but all those crazy thoughts...and even all the words comming out of his head...it was too much for me, I had enough of that with Kanako...and well she is funny but I hate when she acts like a pervert guy..and she just doesnt learn anything!

What really made me finish this and go through all the nosebleeding:
-Mariya and Matsurika
-GOD
-The music and direction or edition of the show was really awesome, besides it had a really good art..
So, it was good for having a crazy bit to pass time..

good point that shizu out also those zetsubou reference again 8D
i hope there will be season 2 =___=

Characters i didnt like:
-Dorm leader
-Yonakuni-san... wth a dog? haha~
-Kiri-chan -.-

The ones that i did like were Kanako, shes just such a pervert, and Father Kanae with his red loincloth at the end lol

You know one of those cases you think something is so obvious it can't be true.
Like as soon as hearing about the plan to get off his bathing suit, it's so obvious it's gotta be his sister you think it must be a reverse? And think it must actually be him?

Yeah, I was fooled by the obviousness. Reverse psychology got me.

Nice ending, BUT NOT ENOUGH MARIYA. D:
