Serious episode.

I thought this was a pretty good episode, although i like the more light hearted comedic appeal of the series rather then the serious tone, but they have to have some sort of plot obviously.
depending on the finale, ill probably given it a 7 or 8, ive enjoyed this series alot, im assuming kakeru probably will end up breaking the zero curse on melon and we will get a happy ending, i cant think of any other ending really.

i can't believe i am going to say this. this was actually a semi decent episode.

i laughed and the seriousness was actually done pretty well.

This episode was pretty damn super cereal.

About time there was a good episode in this series, actually can't believe im looking forward to next episode.

Btw was that Megumi Nakajima voicing that mixed juice akikan or was i hearing things?

An insult indeed. For Akikan, of course.

Anyway, decent episode. And there is still hope for decent ending, that's good.

Lol it might taste like blood... wwhat I wonder about is what will happen if you drank it. Also I wonder how the Akikan for it would act like...

A few nice sight gags in this episode, my favorite was "EMO" juice. Which we got plenty of this episode. Not to say it wasn't still somewhat enjoyable. It's a good thing Kakeru's so good at child-grabbing. I'm hoping in vain for some badass Kabadi from Kakeru, but likely we'll just see the natural result of the Kakeru/Melon chemistry, which I have enjoyed more and more.

Sweet episode, much better than expected. The fight seen was fairly intense. Hopefully, quality will remain consistent to the end of the show

One of the better episodes of this show. New character and all akikans captured by her. I'm really excited how it's gonna turn out in the last episode...

-Ok, so it just wasn't me thinking the animation seemed better.
-I miss the flat out perversion that the show had more of in the beginning, not to say I didn't like the action.
-Best joke for me was the Dragon Punch.
-I guess Kakeru will fight to save Melon like he did for Najimi in the past.

This show suffered it's largest loss this episode. A loss in the form of Otoya-san. That really was all sorts of ridiculous and over done, though. Ah well.

Anyone else notice the stark jump in ratings for Akikan? Thank god.

Someone put story in this Akikan! The devious bastards.

This show is still generic (aside from the original premise, which was a rather quirky idea). I can get a few cheap laughs out of it, but that's about it. Once it stopped with the straight-forward pervy humour, it just became the same as most other ecchi shows (Not that I have anything against the genre). Akikan! was prepared to go a little closer to the knuckle than others, but without that it does not stand out as much.

I'll finish it though. I have seen worse. And it is not like I have anything better to do at the moment anyway. Sigh...

I actually somewhat enjoyed this episode. Sure, it was cliche and we all know how it will end, but I didn't expect anything but cliches from this series so it's not a dissappointment to me.

The action scenes were done really well. It annoyed me how no one realized that the cans were under control except Kakeru. It just annoys me that the viewer is able to tell immediately, but they can't. I hate it when that happens in a series.

You do know that not all parody's are humorous right? A parody is meant to poke fun at or mock someone else's content, an author, or some other target by means of humorous, satiric or ironic imitation. With that said even though you didn't find it funny, I cracked up laughing when he was holding the can in the air yelling in such an over dramatic way. The "cliche" you saw was the satire and ironic imitation of the other romance drama anime shows you've probably seen.

just when i tho "wth with this akikan election, all i see is only 3 akikan..." they introduced an epic, but fairy nice new "bad guy" (well, at least that is how she appeal to me)
yep, the quality of this episode really contribute a lot of marks in overall rating. even my rating jump from 6 to 8 with this episode.
edited: well my rating back to 7 after i watched the episode 12 tho
