I don't go to the beach all that often, but the times when I am near it I usually enjoy going. I just worry that the water might sweep me away one day. I am a self taught swimmer. I can swim pretty good, but definitely not the best out there. |
| I'm a very good swimmer and I like swimming in the ocean. But problem is.... there is always a lot of sand between the ocean and my hotel/wherever I'm staying. So I usually don't go lol We also got a beach here but since it's mostly cold and rainy here people don't go there too often. I don't know why but I can't stand sand, I'm just disgusted by it. :/ |

| when I was a kid we spent nearly all our holidays in tunesia. we went there like.... 8 times... and because of my mum we spent a lot of time on the beach. also eating. I was so grossed out by the sand but all she kept saying was "dirt cleans out the stomach, eat up".... hey.... I just realized.... MY MUM IS TO BLAME FOR MY SAND PHOBIA! finally I got answers!! D: |
| my mother's family is from by the beach, so we had to go there on a regular basis too, still do sometimes. i just can't take sand either. i can stand getting it all over me, used to like taking the showers afterward though, trying to get everything off of me, felt liberating. |
