Yeah, it's an anime since it's made in Japan. I didn't see the whole series though... :( It's still on the Dutch TV sometimes, you know ! ^^ |

I was surprised when I saw it was an anime, heck I was even surprised to find out that my favorite childhood show was translated into so many languages xD |

Wrong, the concept is by Dutchman Herman van Veen, all the art and animation was done in Japan. |

Yep, a Dutchman is the brainchild of it. He had a theater show in the 70's or 80's about Alfred J. Kwak. But with a team up from TV Tokyo(the studio behind Naruto) it has been made into an anime. So it is definitely an anime and great one too! |

I loved the series back then in my childhood days - It's great to see that there's someone uploading all the German episodes on YouTube! |

Gods, I have seen all the eps at least three or four times. Alfred was, and still, a little bit, my greatest hero. Man, what a brave duck he is. (this sounds to stupid xD) ![]() |

Actually Rolf hides its identity. I didn't know that so many liked this series. That is great! Calimero was for a long time an Italian cartoon, before they made an anime about it. |
