I've heard that this series was dropped by the author/artist. Is this true? Are we just going to be left hanging on the 11th volume for ever? Are there any more volumes that haven't been officially translated yet?

Also, I'm only aware of 11 volumes having been released. I'm pretty sure there isn't a 12th as of yet..
Wow. I really need to do some research on this ><

hmm Sugisaki announced on Nov 22, 07 that Asuka would pick up the series again starting Dec. 22nd, 07 when the new Monthly Asuka is released. so everyone can now start looking forward to finally finshing the series!! =D

I think the manga-ka was working on something else at the time? I'm not quite sure but apparently it's going to kick start again sometime soon. I really hate it when a manga isn't finished =__=

The mangaka was working on Lagoon Engine and Lagoon Engine Einsatz. Which is pretty good actually if you're ever interested in checking it out.

Oh, I've heard of Lagoon Engine, I was planning on buying it when I'd finished the other...16 uncompleted series I have. :3

I'd forgotten that the manga-ka was also working on Lagoon Engine. I'm happy to hear that she's very likely to return and complete D.N.Angel. I desperately need some resolution for that series.

I heard it will return, & hopefully finished. But, Sugisaki has been known for leaving her best manga incomplete.

Actually she just recently released vol 12 and she said in it that vol 13 would be out in about 6 months I think. She was just on hiatus. She said she will finish the series.

On the other hand, it's good news, as now I have a reason to read the manga instead of saying 'ah stuff it, why bother'. I mean, if it wasn't ever going to have been finished anyway, I would have just stuck with the anime being good enough, now, however, things are different.

Also, volume 13 is already out, but volume 12 was only just released in English in the U.S.

gawd the mangaka needs to hurry up and finish the gawddamn manga -_____-;

it started before Naruto (by two years) and it's only on the 54th chapter!?!?!

well, for one thing, the magazine its published in isnt a weekly one, its monthly. So its not so uncommon. But its been way too long since we've had a new chapter
