Character Designs
Kobayashi Makoto
PuraPura
Other supporting characters

The movie is based on a novel written by Mori Eto, who won the 135th Naoki Prize in 2006. Its live-action movie was released in 2000. OnTV Movie

Synopsis
A first person narrative novel. I died and was kicked out of the cycle of reincarnation because of the sin I made. An angel told me that I won a lottery and he gave me a chance to remember the sin. My spirit possessed the body of a 14 year old boy Makoto, who committed a suicide and I tried to recollect my memory. I felt distressed by the terrible circumstances of Makoto and the fact that I was borrowing his body. I started to realize that people are hurting each other because the world is too colorful to distinguish the true color of themselves from others'.

A new Sunrise Production neh?

Ever since I saw the major good quality of Kekkaishi (and several others) Sunrise became one of my favorite producers, nice to hear about a new project.

I really liked the last movie of Hara Keiichi so I'm really looking forward this one. The synopsis is very interesting too.

Because non-mecha anime from Sunrise scored better then mecha anime from Sunrise (apart from the Gundam en hype series) ??

It's not so rare from them, their non-mecha anime is from freakin' high quality and they do a better job on them then they do on Code Geass or such. :P

Deep but I rather have some mecha and I believe there's a sad ending to this story. Not good for me, I don't like purely sad endings.

Oh my gawd, I'm watching this (half way through it right now) and I have to say it's amazingly good. It's been a while since a movie has moved me so much, sorta.

I'd really like to read this novel, the barriers of language are restrainning me... Fml.
