What do you do when you feel like you won't be able to find good anime?

Well, I've never had this problem until recently. But, the way I've dealt with it is to re-watch some of my completed anime. It helps that it's been years since I've seen my previous anime so I've forgotten the important details.

This is a good thing because I won't know what to expect since I forget what happened and the experience will be somewhat refreshing.

I don't really what's enough anime to have that problem that i have nothing to watch. I take recommendation's from all sort's of sources and add them to my list. Some i got through MAL's recommendation system, some are from peoples top 10 lists and some are through forums and such.

I don't think i can reach that point that i have absolutely nothing to watch because there's always new interesting show's coming up and even though i have this periods when i clear lot of shows most of the year is spent doing something else.

Currently i been visiting the forums and have cleared several shows on a short period of time but chances are that i lose my dedication for watching anime after a while like i always do.

And then i go come back later on (might be after a month or might be after half month or a year even) a repeat the cycle. I should force myself watching in moderate amount but this is just how i tend to roll with everything.

Actually picking depends on the mood. Sometimes i want to just go through show's that seem important to the fandom even though i suspect i'm not going to like what i see. Sometimes i pick based on the genre and sometimes i pick based on length.

In general i prefer shows that are heavy on story and not the light hearted stuff.
