So, it's out today. Thought a discussion thread should be made.

Haven't seen it yet, though.

Great episode.
Production I.G delivers once again.

they'll have to animate that at some point.

I cannot wait for next part...

I'm really disappointed that they skipped over Fai's past so much. I mean, I know it was to be expected that they would focus on Nihon.. I just really wanted to see more about him. :(

I like the art too much for this OAD that I took so many screenshots like every seconds!

Ooooh, that was quite good! The whole Celes bit was awesome to see in motion, and all the little flashbacks throughout were some nice eye candy.



The only minor disappointment I had was fight scene length as well. Part of me would've liked more of that fight, but I liked all of the stuff that they included aside from that, so I felt like it all balanced out.

So far.... this made a better impression on me than the first Tokyo Revelations OAD did. Anyone else?

Wonderful episode, Production I.G delivers. They shortened a few thing but I guess that was to be expected >.<. I wish Shunraiki was at least 3 episodes, then they could fit in more flashbacks and not have to shorten some scenes.

I rage at that.

Moreso that they did not include Infinity, thus adding even moar confusiong for people.


Not happy with the op too, since song is way too pop-ish and sugary, not to mention some visuals looking silly (the only scene in the OP i loved were dream world one...)


Disappointing. Real disappointing. 4/5



As for overall ill rate this OVA caprice(for the lack of better word, since CLAMP chose Nihon instead of Infinity or Celes) as 7 or 6.

Might raise it till 8 latter on then they finally understand that Infinity and Celes must be animated

I'm rooting for them to animate the headaches chapters ~

Not before Celes or Infinity.


They must animate those two before going anywhere else.


The start of OAD anoyed me greatly.... showing us the end of Celes....AS IF TO "HA HA" at those who wanted to see OADs on Celes and Infinity -.-

I just realized that @15:21 is so funny!

Even though I didn't have high expectations for this it was still very disappointing and the opening isn't that great either.

Damn. I want to see Celes animated even more now T_____T

Ugh, they didn't animate Infinity and Celes and and that is a big mistake in my opinion .-. I was like 'wtf' at the beginning of the OVA -- if I hadn't read the manga I wouldn't have understood a thing!
I didn't like the OP -- both the song and the animation *sigh*
the lenght of the fighting scene was also disappointing /:

Tsubasa Chronicles? I thought that ended after season two. Is this season three or no?

Yeah, I was wondering why they didn't animate Infinity, or Celes. I thought for definite that it would be animated. You know, cover the rest of the manga's arcs with decent OVAs. Looks like we were wrong. Doesn't make sense why they wouldn't animate it. Fai's big reveal, and all that.

It's just OADs of the series, not season 3. THERE'S NO SEASON 3!!



Well, I know the anime before wasn't good enough, but it's not bad enough to not call as seasons...
