I really like it too, and it's not over done which makes it even more awesome!! :) Only now wondered about Reiko's demise too, though I've been wanting to know how she came to have her own family (Natsume's Grandpa/parents) for a while now.

I don't think so, but maybe it's youkai extermination rather then sealing, which is something Natsume wouldn't agree to?

It actually made me laugh, probably because it came out of no where, kinda like the axis last episode :P

That was pretty horrible especially since he'd been contemplating opening up to others when Nanase-san was enquiring about Reiko. They better not think about using him again!!!!!

I wonder if Reiko is dead... Anyway good episode, wish he saved the crow but it looks like we are setting up for the end of this season, can you say season 3?

it would be great if they continued natsume with another season <3
it's surprising, but after all these eps, i'm still loving it XD
i don't know the manga, but from what we've been seeing in the anime, IMAO, the plot could be developed much further.
btw, i loved this ep. XD

Amazing episode. I like that Natsume is starting to sealing youkai, no more of that I-can't-harm-anything mentality. It was also nice to see a comparison of to how powerful Natsume is. Youkai aren't the only thing Natsume has to worry about.

Natsume also wants to learn more about the people and youkai around him, I though that was a nice thought. Which reminds me that Natsume is so distant from everyone around him - I wish he knew how Reiko died.

That youkai with a knife at the end of the episode was surprising. AT LEAST TAKI IS IN THE NEXT EPISODE. OMFG. TAKI <3!

Excellent job in bringing up the question behind Reiko's death. I don't think they intend to solve that so soon, I hope this means we'll be getting a third season (Oh God I hope so). They really chose a nice time to show the knife wielding silhouette at the last moment, especially with the mellow tune of the ED playing. Never saw that coming.

This is a good episode where we get to see Takashi meeting other people of similar abilities but unfortunately he gets away disappointed. I can't help but think that he's a little naive in expecting that these people would share the same kind of understanding he has towards youkai. He ought to know by now that not everyone will have similar thoughts but that does not necessarily mean all of those with special abilities are bad people either. I can't help thinking that the next episode will lead to him to expose his own weakness in this matter. One good thing is that he is starting to want to know more about his own powers and that of Reiko's.

yay - more Hiiragi please! I love that ayakashi.
Also the episode was brilliant - I hope he gets more into exorcising.

This episode was great! It's good to see Hiiragi again.

OH MY GAWD, I THOUGH THAT I WAS THE UNIQUE THAT NOTICED THE FABULOUS MUSIC USED IN THIS EPISODE. AMAZING. EPIC. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. BRILLIANT!

Quite a good episode I think. It's interesting to see people who are like Natsume as a feel that he is not the only one. Also a potrayal that yes, man could be just as dangerous as youkai. Wohoo for Natsume's exorcism skills!!!

i find it really easy to believe that reiko had kid(s) if she found somebody like tanuma or a male version of taki.

That was a great episode. Favorite one so far this season.
