| I was a little confused about the time period at first, but I soon figured it out. It was a good recap and I liked the extra scenes we didn't get to see before. I still feel like somethings missing or they could have shown us more, but I'm not complaining. |

This movie was beautiful and highlighted all the best parts from the TV series, this does seem more like a recap as some parts really were confusing if you didn't see the TV series but all by all it got the whole story over very well and just like the TV series that ending was just beautiful! 9/10 |

| Just like the anime, the movie is AWESOME! Though it's just a recap with some extra scenes, it reminded me of how great the anime is! The scene where they all finally see her and say their goodbyes ALWAYS gets me teary eyed!! Just wished Anaru would confess to Jinta or vise versa. They should make an OVA on that. For sure it'd be great! 10/10 |

| Oh gosh how beautiful. I lost it when they played Secret Base and everyone was just screaming her name. I didn't mind the recaps that much as it's nice to remember what happened. I still like the TV series better, but this movie was amazing as well. I wish we'd get to see more extra scenes between the characters. It still gave me the same feels. I don't think I've cried this much for any other anime. |

| It's been exactly 8 months since I watched the TV series, and I had completely forgotten about that song "Secret Base". Was just about managing to hold back my tears util that song started playing. I heard the first note and literally like, one second later my face was soaked o.o I recommend not watching this directly after the TV series because it is a re-cap movie so lots of flashbacks, even though it shows everyone's point of view and some more background information. 9.5/10 |

| Well... this was really horrible. Roughly one piano track laid over 90% of an awfully directed retelling with meh additional scenes with such glorious gems such as "nokemon = foreigners". 2/10. |

| waited so long for this happy it was less of a recap and more of a sequel with flashbacks,honestly i really wanted Anaru and Tsuruko confess only thing bothering me lol that and i wanted to see a bit more with everyone together present time. but seriously Secret Base can make any scene give you the feels even if you seen it already 8/10 |

| Man...why. I was enjoying this, with the added scenes and what not, and it goes without saying, I skipped the last cringe worthy big crying scene. Only to see no interesting development what so ever. It's still heavily focused about the annoying Menma thing. I literally watched this only because I thought there would be some kind of development between Anaru and Jintan, but nope. At least there was subtle confirmation for Chiriko x Yukiatsu. This only reminded of the potential wasted on the original TV series. Ughh.. 6/10 |

You just know that one they'll be reunited :') Fuck, even if I knew everything that was going to happen, I still cried like a bitch. Damn you AnoHana, being so touching and all... Anaru is even more of a cutie with her new hairstyle :) Poppo is still the same goofy boy. The way he lived being all happy carrying the pain of having abandonned her on that river must be unbearable. He seem to have made peace with his demons. I really laughed at the end when they are making that ''girl-talk'', Yukiatsu try to get in and Anaru say that it's not because he putted make-up once that he can get in xD Tsuruko drawing wasn't really great :P But it's the intention that count :) Jintan seem to have become the leader again, even if he doesn't like his title :P That scene where Menma disappear always get me. It's really them screaming in the background and also when they all start making their last farewell... God damnit, I hate crying in front of my parents -.- |

| the same scene got me again. i knew it was gonna happen too and i thought i was ready but nope, the feels train hit me head on. wasnt a fan of anaru during the series but for some reason she was more memorable this time around. overall 9/10. it was a great movie. |

| So it is mostly recaps from the original series, though it focus more on letters and childhood memories. There are some great ones that I reminiscence, having those feels. Though it could focus more on new footage, I kind of got bored during the recap. Though, I still have these feels throughout the movie. The ending was great imo. 9/10. |
| Did not quite hit my expectations, basically 50% new scenes, 50% reused scenes, and this movie is not quite the summary that you can skip the entire series just by watching this. Can't get em feels back the last time I watched it, and only when Secret Base kicks in some of the feels returned, still felt lacklustre compared to the original. In short, for those who didn't watch AnoHana, just watch the series, this movie, IMHO, is not that great and can be skipped. |

| pretty much a recap plus a bit of the childhood stories. :) it was very sweet and enjoyable The ending scene with the hide n seek made me cry again the circle game- galileo galilei :) good ending song to wrap up the series! |

| I usually not into recaps but this was fantastic. I like how they put a few clips from the TV series and then added new things and monologues in between. The music was amazing. Also, yay Tsuruko x Yukiatsu canon? 8/10 |
| That was good, all the best parts of the tv series were recapped/highlighted. The added childhood scenes were nice too and tied in very smoothly too. All that extra content at the end was worth it. Im gonna miss this. |

| Well I'm a little disappointed, I guess mostly b/c the site I watched it on showed a brown menma in the preview, so I thought we were going to see the gang meet up with the reincarnated menma, but it turned out to be just a recap with some extra scenes. It was nice, but if I knew it was going to predominantly be a recap then I would have waited a month or two after I had finished the series, which was yesterday btw, that way I could give it a chance to leave my mind so it seems nostalgic when I go back to revisit it. I still didn't cry though. Don't know why people are calling this a tear jerker. >_> Overall it answered some of my questions so I'm content with this ending, but I'm not really happy with it. |

| I was looking forward to this movie and they made it better than the anime, really I was thinking I would not cry like I did in the anime, and I cried so much more in this one, I cried in many scenes...I am sure people can't watch it without crying, really, it's so sad and beautiful, and in the end when you see how much they changed it's amazing...really, this one is a masterpiece, I will never forget it! 10/10 |

| Haven't cried like a little girl in ages. Even though it is mostly a recap, having watched the series the same year it came out, it was both nostalgic and emotionally powerful for me. I'm really glad to have watched this movie. |

| Solid Movie, though I feel its landed in an odd territory, I mean you could say its a "recap" but I feel like if you have not seen the main series you won't appreciate it as much, I mean you could almost say "sequel" since it has various scenes that take place after the series... I guess this Movie is just for the fan of the series... Anyways... I cried a river once again, I don't think I've got around to re-watching anything that has hit me so hard in the past so I was curious if I would cry again with the movie but knowing whats coming had me some what teary eyed throughout and then again at the end I balled... I will be able to move on to the next Anime quicker this time round though since I know how to deal with whatever this feeling is this time around... |
