I'm expecting this to end very badly for Saemon when snake lady realises it's him.

Boring? I thought it was pretty good! I was especially moved by the look into harutobi's past.

Wouldn't go as far as saying it was boring, but it lacked the number of fights the other episodes have.

This was a good episode I think. Shows a bit more humanity from all involved (except the monster looking one's) and raises the stakes. And I think Saemon might have taken a liking to Hotarubi, which might be his death sentence.

I thought it was a pretty interesting episode bc of the look into the past but as far as the action goes not much in it

Enjoying this series thus far. I must say though: at this rate, every character in this series is gonna end up blind. XD

The only reason anybody thinks it's boring is because it lacks the action of previous episodes. Instead, this episode shows the Iga as actual humans... more than just the ruthless killers they've almost exclusively been depicted as thus far. This was very needed.

Boring? Seriously?

I thought this episode was beautiful and moving. And judging by the next episode's title, Hotarubi's probably going to get rekt. I'm interested to see how that affects Saemon. It appears he is intrigued by her, but is bound by duty.

Looks like Hotorubi fell for the shapeshifter yet again, oh man. Probably her death sentence too, considering she just got her backstory fleshed out.

Definitely a slow episode (wouldn't necessarily call it boring, though); there was a recap not too long ago, so it seems clear the animation studio was trying to slow the pacing overall. There are still quite a few women in the story, so the romantic element always feels strong.

I don't care for Hotorubi...wouldn't mind if she met her end in the next episode. But she may see through the deception this time since she was the most upset by it. You'd think the Iga would have come up with a password of some sort, knowing that the enemy can mirror appearances.

The Iga feeling sorry for themselves now doesn't invoke much sympathy, even if that is the episode's intention. They were previously killing and slaughtering the Kouga unprovoked with absolute glee for no other reason other than spite.
