Daiba is .3 second short of attacking a Mazone after provoking them and has to learn a lesson.

This episode was fine little dragged in the middle but otherwise okay.

So does this series ever gain any direction? I don't usually mind shows that aren't simply rushing toward a certain goal, but the combination of this not seeming to have any real planning (first we're gonna do some Mazone research, and then we'll have a space battle, and then we'll get chased around on Earth, and then Daiba will bitch about revenge, and then we'll do it all over again) and not being terribly entertaining (ditto) are making it pretty tough to sit through.

I guess if I were watching it as a kid I would probably think it ruled pretty hard, but unlike other classic anime this doesn't seem to have held up all that well.
How the world will end: "There was something about a brightest day and a blackest night...bah, I'm sure the universe can defend itself."
