| Interesting new character, she keeps ya guessing. Karura's backstory definitely needs to get explained sometime though. She puts Sephiroth to shame too XD |

| Not sure I'm really "in love" with the way this series is going, but it's definitely still entertaining. I kind of wish this whole thing with Karula/Karura had a bit more of a realistic feel to it, since she just seems too good to be true - especially since she appeared right when Hakuoro needs her, and she gets along with pretty much everyone but Oboro (who's overly-suspicious in the first place). I suppose, though, that this is a fantasy series so... I need to ignore those unrealistic aspects. XD Maybe I'll end up really liking this after all... It'll be really interesting to have Karula/Karura and Hakuoro's backgrounds finally revealed, later on. |

| One of my favourite characters from the game, and the adaptation of this episode was superb since Karura's slaughter of the slavers happened off-screen in the game. This also showed a bit more of how she is won over serve Hakuoro. We'll find out more about her backstory and arc later, but she hasn't had it easy up until this point. |

| At first I thought Karura was some demon or the next antagonist when on the boat, but then didn't realise it was a girl and upon seeing her ears thought she was one of people of yamayura kind which was close. She's pretty awesome gladiator and a nice character introduced in the series which will be very helpful in combat. |
