I really liked IX. Am I weird?

FFX-2. Lamest Square achievement ever. I also thought FFV was pretty bad (crystal stories were getting a bit boring after five games), but, at the very least, its job system was fun.

Tough one between FFX-2 and FFXII - both games were almost a chore to play through to the end. Went with FFXII because it is so damn over-rated, I mean come on 40/40 rating from Famitsu- it has the most boring story in the FF series, no real character development, lame ass final boss, a probability system that forces you to keep rezoning to certain area a million times to get your hands on that bitchin weapon/piece of armour, and the hands off snooze fest that was the gambit system. Oh and your pretty much guaranteed on not getting the strongest weapon in the game, the Zodiac Spear, on your first playthrough (unless you're using a walkthrough of course).

Aren't games meant to be fun? This game is just frustrating.

11 for me, FF just wasnt made for online play.

FFXII. It sucked. The music was awful and sounded like it was done on a crappy keyboard by a 12 year old, the character development was nonexistant, there was no romantic plotline to follow, you didn't know why half of the characters were around in the first place or why they stayed, the main character was completely uninvolved and useless to the "plot", and it was just a big dissapointment. It could have been great, they ruined it.

X-2, I don't hate it I just don't like it as much as I do for the other ones

Final Fantasy XII ---shibbyxoxo say's it all

I'll admit the CG and 3D models and designs are great. I just find there is too few variety in monsters (as you run into the same model multiple times with a different texture on it)
It's not that hard to make more monsters when you already have such a big world to fill. (I'll admit though 10 also had this repetition problem though I enjoyed that game alot)

XII did have a story, it was actually a very well written one. It was just a terrible idea, because the whole fanbase pretty much just wants fantasy not politics.

I wont have people saying it had no story, or it had a crappy story.
It's story was just different.

Sacrificed music? Don't think so, I thought some of the FFXII soundtracks were still as amazing as the previous FF's. Although I found the story interesting for being less entangled than most FF's (IMO, anyway), I did miss the character development in it. And actually, I also thought the game to have more fantasy than most FF's.

Ugh, Crystal Chronicles and Final Fantasy Online are by far the worst. CC dealt with too much of the bucket crap and way to much multiplayer. and FF online was the worst game i have ever played. I might not have set it up right but the graphics are terrible unless you tweak it enough and i never really understood it. Looking forward to playing the new CC as well as buying a PSP for Crisis Core and a PS3 for FF13. (I hate sony for not releasing it on 360!)

Well, when Microsoft release a game worth playing on the Ps3. Then you have room to complain.
Besides, FF Is Sqeenix.

well it should be, man i'm waiting to find somone who will lend me the game so tht i can try and force myself to play, i mean i'v got a whole bottle of prosac ready and waitin so tht i can actually stay awake for longer then 30 mins.

X-2. Boring storyline, basically made for extra money rather than actually being fun to play.
