| It was less shafted than I thought and i'm thankful for that, a full shaft throttle of avant-garde styles just doesn't suit a romcom like nisekoi. The only thing that bugged me throughout the episode so far was chitoge's seiyuu. Every time she speaks, yuigahama's image keep popping into my head... -___- |
| Never read the manga before but I feel like I'm going to enjoy this show. Classic Shaft. I'm just in love with their slow motion head tilts, animation quality, foreground/background art, and their quirky yet awesome OST they somehow always end up with. Not really sure if the dramatic black/white head turn at the 15 min mark is even classifed as a SZS reference anymore or if it's just a Akiyuki Shinbo thing. |

| Good first episode. Based on the type of story Nisekoi is Shaft managed to put its own spin and direction on how to present it. The voice fit the characters very well. Totally forgot how much a b*tch Kirisaki was at the beginning of the series. I'll be staying on team Onodera! |

| Was always a fan of this manga, am totally up to date with it. Was totally anticipating this show.... but.... Don't get me wrong, I love the way they made it, but does anyone whose read the manga get the impression that this show was made for a Tora-Dora type animation style instead of the Bakemonogatari-ish (chopped up scenes, psychedelic backgrounds whilst walking through corridors, diary-type writing during scenes, etc.)? Still, I love the story, and want to see how far they're going to go through in this season alone, so I'll still be a proper fan and keep watching, if only to see where they get to. Can someone gif me the Chitose's cartwheel jump over the wall + bite the bread in mid-air? I'd love to use it for a sig. |

| Wow, I didn't expect the start to be this good. Considering the quality of the manga itself... but man, I'm loving the anime adaptation already. But I seriously forgot how annoying Chitoge was at the start of the story. Guess I'm back to hating her again lol. Edit: Btw, Onodera > All. |

| A mix of Toradora and Bakemonogatari, seems interesting, but I expected the Yakuza gang to be much more scarier. LOL at Chitoge's jumping knee kick, shades of Danial Bryan/Wyatt lol. Although I find it weird how Raku cannot find a simple locket in that grass. I mean is the grass so big that the locket cannot reflect light and reflect like a spec to hint where it is. Anyway, Onedera seems shy and I'm wondering how long hos Raku known Onedera as a teenager. Knowing it's spring or so perhaps he's known Onedera since the start of the school term. Idk, so far good episode. |

| The Animation and all are very Shaft like, but surprisingly enough, it actually seems to fit the anime quite well o.o Nice ED song. I remember I stopped reading the manga at a certain point but, I wonder how much SHAFT is going to animate? |

| Yes! It finally arrived! Been waiting ages for this ever since they announced the adaptation :3 Words cannot express how happy I am to see this anime. So far, no major complaints. I enjoyed the artwork and style that shaft decided to go along with but it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Expected it to be less of that unique style Shaft always used and more a "regular" anime. Still, loved it nonetheless. Watching this reminded me of just how annoying Chitoge was in the earlier parts of the story :< Can't wait for her to transfer to her dere side :D Onodera is as cute as ever <3 |

| If Raku doesn't end up with Kosaki, but the end of the manga I'm going to be super pissed. I doubt he is going to be getting with anyone by the end of the series, but I'll definitely be looking into the manga after this series is done airing. |

| It's finally here and the wait was totally worth it. Didn't expect them to go all out with their style on this one but it turned out great. Seeing as I whole-heartedly love their animation style and that Nisekoi has been my guilty pleasure for months, this is a total win for me. Chitoge is the best! <3 Cannot wait for more! :) |
| Thoughts: 0:03 serious right from the start… I like 3:49 students who go to school always carry toast in their mouths… only in japan 4:51 the way the camera is moving… feels like bakemonogatari, which is annoying… really strains the eyes 6:00 wtf… always a transfer student. Every anime is always in a school with a transfer student… cliches everywhere 6:21 if anyone here in this forum can speak both japanese and english fluently, I hate u. When I get fluent in japanese, my hikkikomori skills will level up 16:35 weather sure does change fast when people get mad 18:24 great use of english and the middle finger by Chitoge 20:04 onodera is so sweet, of course she had to be the girl in the beginning of this ep. 20:56 having the whole 'yakuza gang thing' in the story was to force a fake love or nisekoi...kinda boring…...eh. ---------------- Overall: 1. All the bickering between the ichijo & kirisaki came across as annoying. I like tsunderes but if not enough of the soft side is shown… the character becomes a bitch 2. Don't like the 'bakemonogatari' camera shots. Too many images flashing at once & randomly. Seriously, I'm surprised people don't get a seizure when watching stuff like that. 3. The ED song by Claris was great 4. Voice acting, music & graphics are super good. The characters are annoying as shit because of the bickering except for onodera. Story seems boring. Having to watch ichijo and kirisaki argue every time they meet is hell. Graphics look so good tho. Cuz of that, I'll keep going with this series. Ep1: 3/10 |

Its a 'nice' series but the manga (parent story) isnt making any effort to really go anywhere with the romance or the 'promise' in quite sometime. It shares a great deal in common with Love Hina .. the major thing they dont share is one actually neatly finished and finished well - I hope they get to the RxJ arc but well see .. at least the anime shouldnt reach the fillerish aspects of the later parts of the manga.. And so far - it has been Loyal to its manga and Shaft has done the designs well |

| The fact that Onodera didn't tell Raku that she was the girl he made the promise with is pretty annoying. Other than that looks like this series will be quite enjoyable. |
