| Find it hilarious they reached lvl 25-30 without any remote knowledge of how to party, and have to sit down and explain all their skills? What did they do till lvl 25, kill boars? (South Park, WoW episode reference for the ones who didn't realise) Also, a 2H wielding tank, tanking 4 mobs with the focus on taunt? That shit wouldn't fly in vanilla wow, as a former tank I'd guarantee you that. The tank would get raped to hard to the point that the healer would be spamming heal and steal agro. Also, the only thing Minori was doing was acting as a look out? Though in her report to Shirou she was a off healer... But yeah, the way the group handled this piss easy mob patrol, hardly makes me think the author is an experienced mmorpger. Or he had to be playing one piss easy mmorpg. |
| Hey guys, let's not forget that for them it isn't a mmorpg, it's real life. They don't see anything else than what their eyes show them, if there's a skeleton behind the corner that you would obviously see with the camera, they won't know it until they turn the damn corner. If they turn their back to an opponent to face another one, they completely lose sight of the rest of the environment behind them. Making it so that the field is overseen the most possible is someone's job is a great idea in my opinion. Fear, stress and other emotions can easily affect them as well. When you're behind your computer, clicking on stuff it's easy not to feel those but when you're running for your life, feel tired and have to swing the sword yourself it's another matter. Personal skill also matter and I don't mean button masshing your macros. Dodging strikes is not the same as pressing a few key on your keyboard and when you turn your back to your oponent you completely lose sight of them (unlike simply starring at a camera like your typical mmorpg work) Comparing the situation they live in Log Horizon with a real mmorpg like WoW is retarded as fuck so please stop. |

This isn't a typical "piss easy" mainstream MMORPG like goddamn WoW. This is modeled after older classics like EQ or D&D. And they are fighting in real time using their own bodies as opposed to clicking on a damn keyboard and staring at a damn screen sipping hot coco. Not because of how strong the mobs were but because they had trouble adjusting to real battles as opposed to controlling your avatar through a PC. They were Lvl. 90 and had a wealth of experience playing MMOs and ET. Now throw those same problems at under leveled, under equipped noobs like Minori and company and you have got a major problem. |

Can't wait to see true politics in action now that they've been trying to forge bonds with the POTL so far. Great to see that Minori was able to resolve their issues. | It doesn't make sense how Rudy can not be an adventurer. He clearly gains experience and levels up. The People of the Land don't have that capability. Surely he can't gain it just from wanting to be an adventurer? Also, he's been to the real world I think, because he was reminiscing about a sandwich shop he used to visit there. |

IIRC, weren't there new food shops set up in Akihabara after they disclosed the cooking method? I vaguely remember that even the PK group back in the early episodes have a shop. It could go either ways really, there's ample and heavy handed suspicion being cast on Rudie but then again there's no concrete proof on what exactly are they hinting. |

| Love this episode, , minori voice is so adorable. the expression of shiroe when he hear minori's story is like when you hear story from someone which you already know how it would be process (cause you already know the fact or have same experience) I think Rudy will become key figure here, I think he has connection with the one who cast the world fraction magic (if i remember correctly, nobody know about the one who cast this magic, right!?). and he also sorcerer here, so i think it's possible. :v I kind of disappointed with marie reaction, as a guild master at least she should remain calm. |
| Quite an interesting episode with the team working together in the dungeon by learning more about each other and Shiroe seems to have found a reason for moving forward due to this event. Seems like Rudy has blocked access for being added as a friend? Maybe something happened in his past that made him this way. I wonder who the Goblin King is and there really are a lot of things that we don`t know about in the Elder Tale world. It ends with the army of fishes invading where Marie and the other are so can`t wait to see the battles in the next episode!! 5/5 |

I'll point out again that Isuzu said "Let's go for hot pollock roe sandwiches sometime." as she was about to add Rudy to her friend list. This would only be possible if hot pollock roe sandwiches were something in Elder Tale, not from Earth. ...well, there is the possibility that some chef character re-created a dish from Earth in Elder Tale. I googled "hot pollock roe" and "Ray Parker", but found nothing conclusive about such a thing existing on Earth. | Newbies proper learning their roles. Nothing more satisfying than that, really. I love LOGH, but it's so dumb how the "post apocalyptic" scene is taken so lightly. They should at least expect monster invasions, wars, database anormalities, death penalties and etc, wtf. |

| The explanations were incredibly cringy in the beginning. The scene with Lenessia didn't really have a purpose. On the topic of dungeon trash difficulty, It's obvious that their main problem wasn't that of a bad adaptation to first person combat (they weren't trembling in fear- they looked fine) but rather because most of them never bothered to read up on MMORPG mechanics before starting (filthy casuals). For an MMO that has been out for TWO DECADES, I'd find it surprising if this information wasn't already available to them while Elder Tale was still a game. On the topic of Rudy, (spoilers obvs) |
