| I liked this first episode. I'm definitely interested in why he has that on his forehead, and I want to know what will happen while she's inside of this book. I like Yui a lot, already. |

| The main character is quite interesting, but currently am more interested in the guy (partly cos he's hot!). I've heard many saying this series is really good, but the average score is not that high (like around 7 something). Still, am gonna continue watching series. |

| Lol.. I've rewatched this so many times when I didn't have that much anime to get on my hands on back then.. And here I am again, 2014, watching it again. Gonna go for the sub though. I just noticed how awkward the english dub was on a random youtube clip. |

| I know this was a high trend in the 80/90. Weak (headstrong) girl either gets sent to a world or gets powers, gets saved by handsome guy, and needs to fill out here destiny. But this is really the dullest one of them all. It doesn't help that the same woman who plays Usagi in Sailor Moon who Miaka acts almost identical to Usagi as a starting point. Also I know it shouldn't be a huge deal but why they speaking Japanese in this feudal Chinese land. It takes you out of the story and I know the story is just here for a pretty backdrop and nothing else, lets be real. |

| Honestly, I think this is kind of a rough start, but it's the sort of rough start that leaves you with hope, if that makes any sense. Some shows you just know are going to be bad, but this one feels like a show that just needs to gather the elements before it starts flowing. It's totally just my intuition, but I feel like it's going to get better starting with the 3rd or 4th episode. |

| The start of this series is mildly interesting. We have Miaka and Yui, junior high school friends who have gone to study at a library. Miaka witnesses a red bird go to a section of the library in which people are not allowed. She and Yui open the book and thus begins our tale. If I remember correctly, this series starts the whole reverse harem genre. This episode is all over the place. I recommend watching with an open mind and low expectations. |
