I like how everyone is like" are you in elementary or something". It took them all that long to hold hands,kiss,etc? Are they this slow in the manga also.

Yea it's annoying but since you asked about the manga yea there's actually a fairly good reason presented there why he is such a bitch I'm not sure how to tag spoilers so I'm gonna skip a few lines

ok in the manga there is a big universal law that that humans demons and goddess are not supposed to be together without facing a magical super test ( it's so hard it's parents essentially God and the devil king couldn't pass it) so kenechis for lack of a better term " lust" is magically sealed away until essentially near the end. The most fed up part is it'd and other goddesses try and push Kinichi to ask knowing about the law and it's at least knows of the seal.. That's why the mc is always wanting to but can't... Although in the manga they do kiss. But almost awl ways started by bel dandy /so there's your awnsers 3 yrs later lol I doubt you will get it
