| It has been announced that the light novel "Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin" (story by Kazuma Ootorino and art by Ringo Aka) will get an anime adaptation which is to be aired in Spring 2014 on Fuji TV's Noitamina. This light novel received the Grand Prize in the novel section of 13th Enterbrain Entertainment Grand Prix in 2011. There was a promotional video released in December 2011. | Yes! Looking forward to it! Whenever I checked Famitsu's LN website it was often highlighted, and girls with weapons tend to please me. But it can also means: Baka and Test season 3 and B.A.D. anime never. It seems Enterbrain was quick to remove the video from youtube. |

While I'm not sure, mostly of the jury compromise of the publisher executives. I reckon that every LN publisher does that, searching for the "next big thing" Award-winning novels works usually get published with a lot of advertisement. Sometimes they become popular and become long running, sometimes they finish early, but the author might get a second chance.. If they are good or not, that's up to the reader to decide, but I understand they often have "original" plotlines. Hope this helps. |

These are business decisions which were made after looking at supply & demand, trends, costumer groups, etc. And apparently the decision was: Anime that tries to attract new groups/be different is not as desired as the same stuff people keep airing and demanding on the other slots over and over again.
