First of all, it's still relatively early in the series so it's unsurprising that the main character is winning most fights. That being said, she definitely didn't win the Satsuki fight and got DESTROYED by Sanageyama which totally caught me by surprise. I almost feel like we're watching different shows. As far as the elite 4 go, you're right that she's been pulling off ridiculous victories. That would normally bug me but the show is openly addressing it by stating that she's evolving too quickly and that seems like it will be the next major plot point. I'm super glad that they condensed 2 fights into 1 in this episode though because of the predictable nature of this tournament. As far as the rest of the show goes, I don't think it's been predictable at all |
| Wow I didn't care much for Nonon before now... but I love her yandere / tsun tsun personality lol. Loved the way she said "Yeah, just like a certain somebody!", too damned cute. Her clashes with Sanageyama in general were funny as hell... I guess it was already shown, but I still was a bit surprised by her attitude. Hope to see more of her down the road. |

Each of the elite 4 so far have been defeated by an asspull (I'd imagine nonon is next). I guess we will have to wait and see what happens when senketsu evolves too quickly. dat ass, though. |

| Wait, so five years ago for Inumata too? Is he the same age as Gamagoori then? O_O Shame he got taken out so quickly ... or forfeited, rather. I was hoping to see more of him :S Nonon's turn! Love her entrance and transformation was pretty hilarious XD So she's been Satsuki's friend since childhood eh ... this will be interesting :P Gotta say if she doesn't put up more of a fight I'll be quite disappointed ... Hmm, wonder what the needle guy's up to ... Senketsu transforming too quickly eh? Plus it's pretty impressive Ryuuko hasn't given out yet ... I mean Senketsu's been draining her for two whole fights already! New character for next episode? Certainly didn't expect that ... I wonder what her deal is :O |

| This anime keeps amazing me on how great they manage to develop each character with a short but well fit backstory and then an epic battle! That last battle sure was amusing and awesome at the same time and yea to have her be in a flying mode things sure to get even more intense in the next episode so let's see what's next! |

| These fights are over way too quickly, I was expecting so much more from these three-stars considering one of them almost defeated Ryuuko not long ago, but now she's randomly coming up with these new evolutions designed for these specific situations! One good thing about this is Mako is making some new friends - lel |

| Nonon's entrance & transformation was awesome! So glad her battle was part of this episode, I love her! Houka got beaten by Ryuuko so quickly! Another Senketsu transformation, now he can fly! And poor Mako having to sit next to Gamagoori & Houka with all that tension LOL |
| Surprisingly, Gamagoori was the hardest fight so far IMO. Let's see if Jakuzare can raise her game. |

| Trust KLK to make a little girl look more imposing than the most other villains. I guess Houka going down without much struggle isn't too surprising, he's just the tech guy, and he defeated the least amount of students after Gamagoori (who was purposely trying to avoid casualties. The bits with Mako, Ira and Houka in the stands were hilarious. |
| The fight with Houka was a bit disappointing, but I liked the clever attack that was used to defeat him. I also liked how they're directly addressing the "shounen powerup" trope as part of the plot in regards to Ryuko's sudden transformations and subsequent increases in power. I can't get over how coincidental it was that Nonon's English dub VA is the same one for the dub VA of Sayaka Miki and how both characters are associated with the theme of music. |
